I liked the first two Mars Volta records A LOT back when they came out. The later records became progressively less listenable.

We're always talking about Bio-Dome.
John Fatso. Boom, roasted.
I only got in to Street Fight a few months ago (due to a guest appearance by Will Menaker) but I really enjoy it. I missed their live show in Chicago and I really regret it.
Yeah, that was definitely a big reason.
Now that he's been officially relieved of his White House duties, I hope the Dragon of Budapest has more time to hang out with the fellas in the Park Slope mansion.
I've sort of moved into the DIY comedy/political stuff like Chapo Trap House/Street Fight Radio and the like. The only professional podcasts I really listen to anymore are sports related like Men In Blazers and Zach Lowe's Lowe Post.
Did they keep the nominally sports-centric aspect of Country when they moved over? It seemed like they didn't actually follow sports all that closely, but still kinda shoehorned some sports stuff in there.
That's more or less my relationship with WTF. He's gotten much stronger as an interviewer over the last few years, and he's gotten some pretty huge guests. I need to go back and catch up on some of his more recent ones sometime soon.
I had never even thought of that, to be honest. That's a really good point.
I cut out most of the Earwolf type stuff over the course of the last few years. First to go was Sklarbro Country (which I guess doesn't exist in its original form anymore) because I realized that they were just recycling the same worn out jokes and references over and over again. Then I phased out How Did This Get…
I got burned out on How Did This Get Made a while back. I think it was a combination of them covering movies I had no interest in/knowledge of and just growing tired of their whole schtick in general.
Neither seen nor heard!
There's no way for anything to be funnier than a new Danzig album.
Even by rap-rock standards, Papa Roach sucked.
I guess the biggest difference between Red Dragon and Manhunter are the ending and the character of Will Graham himself. It's been a long time since I've seen Red Dragon, but I don't remember Ed Norton's Graham as being quite as psychologically damaged as William Petersen's.
I haven't read Red Dragon, but I assume the movie Red Dragon stays a little closer to it plot-wise than Manhunter does?
Please let this show give James Adomian a platform for his Sebastian Gorka impression. Or his Bernie impression. Hell, any of his impressions.
It's a bad impression. Anthony's is way, way better.
He convinced a bunch gullible morons that Sandy Hook was a hoax. Fuck him and I hope he never sees his kids again.
