That IS excellent to hear. It is far past time for all gaming companies to make their games more accessible to everyone.

Sorry to dissapoint, but it sounds like God of War is missing the larger text feature. I believe Mr. Totilo is lamenting the fact that the text can’t be enlarged, while celebrating that now Monster Hunter does have that feature.
I define it as a subculture because creating an ASMR audio/video has particular defining characteristics decided upon by the community. It is not just about the audio, but also about how you portray what is happening and the content. This has not just happened through one person, rather it has been defined by a group…
I stand by labeling it as a subculture, but if you don’t want to see it that way, fine.
The word fetish has a negative connotation in our society and is directly defined by being sexual in nature. The particular fuzzy headed feeling that people experience from ASMR is not inherently sexual by nature and can just be a calming experience that some people use as a coping strategy. By calling this a fetish…
Sure sounds like a subculture to me. It is part of the larger group of youtubers, streamers, podcasters, etc that perform in a specific way. This performance has drawn a group of people together that have different expectations than the larger group. Thus, subculture.
Not really. I just think this line of thinking is silly. People get enjoyment out of it and it doesn’t harm anyone, yet they went out of their way and called it a fetish because they don’t understand. It is demeaning to a subculture, which is the exact line of thinking and action that is used in many prejudices.
Ugh, I don’t get everybody’s obsession with “Battle Royale Games.” It just makes me think y’all have a weird fetish you’re trying to push on everybody.
Canadians are still just as awful to their indigenous population. Don’t let the whole narrative of “Canada is accepting and beautiful” dilute the truth of that. Trudeau has helped many minority groups in Canada, but has done very little for the indigenous nations.
May I suggest romancing Solas? You can only do so as a female elf, and it opens up a lot of interesting story implications.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! HOT TAKE HERE! WE HAVE A HOT TAKE!
I take it as a sacred duty during the lead up to thanksgiving to shout in the hallways where I teach, “Remember that Thanksgiving is built on genocide and lies!” Very cathartic and hopefully informative.
It is a cooperative multiplayer mode where you try to accomplish particular missions with other players.
The humor is what made Theme Hospital worth playing. If they lose that, which it kind of looks like they are, then I have no interest in the game. That’s just me, but it seems like that is a commonality within the old fan base.
I had a similar experience with Destiny 1. I had avoided playing with people and speaking with them with a mic due to how it exacerbated my social anxieties. I preferred playing silently, but strove to hold my one in PvE. Wanting to experience the full range of what Destiny had to offer I decided to search out a play…
I loved ME:A. I thought it was a triumph in many ways with just a few problems here and there. I also agree that ME1 is an absolute mess. A few years ago I spent my summer (hs teacher) replaying through the original trilogy. ME1 was difficult to fully complete, but I powered through knowing how much they improved…
The first one blew me away when I played it. I figured it would be a quick play, throw away type of game, but that was far from the case. I was sucked in immediately and played it a couple of times. Can’t wait to eventually get a Switch and pick up 2!
Change in that realm is on the way. Kotaku did an article about a particular company a few weeks ago.
No argument here. The strongest isn’t always the smartest or kindest. Trial by combat is definitely an outdated and flawed method for succession.
