I don’t fault her for not cooking, but getting tripped up on a question about a favorite family meal seems really sad. Surely She knows what Barron likes to eat.

She’s not growing on me a bit, but this is still a totally bullshit question. She said she doesn’t cook, why not just drop it? Let’s stop asking women this irrelevant stuff just to make them seem more “relatable.”

Eh, I don’t like to admit this but she’s growing on me. I don’t cook either; I don’t feel that sort of expectations should just be hoisted upon wives. And I get her genuine struggle to figure out an answer to Bolling’s gender role normative question.

The most depraved people are hardcore, gay-hating evangelicals. They hate themselves, they hate their humanity, they hate women’s sexuality. I have stories that I wish I didn’t know. The women are always punished severely for any indiscretion, the men are slapped on the wrist and told to pray more.

Yes. And even if you follow all these rules, if something does not go according to plan, then it must have been something you did.
