I feel like a lot of those obnoxious but harmless house ghosts just want to know that they’re seen. When you let them know you know they’re there, that makes them feel better, and when you ask them nicely to stop scaring you or messing with your stuff, they’re happy to oblige.

I get what everyone’s saying, but also consider how we would all respond if the police had escalated the situation and ended up discharging a weapon or arresting the person with excessive force?

I don’t think these things “work” because Jesus or the christian god are real. I think when it comes to banishing ghosts/spirits/other entities, it comes down to basically a battle of energies and those christian items are basically talismans that amplify the believers energy. And I think the more sincere their belief…
