Yeah, I don’t think they were cheating, and I understand why they appealed the decision, but there was never going to be a scenario where they win that one. Worn plank is worn plank, no matter how it happened.

...the Climate Comfort package now heats the instrument panel and dash in addition to the armrests, door cards and seats.

It's the Jalopnik premium. Economists are only now recognizing it's outsized effect on the economy.

It seems they increased the price.

Please stop posting crap from Xitter.

Appropriate time to insert your BMW-drivers-are-the-worst jokes here.

In all honesty though, I still don’t know what all this efficient, not efficiency means. Did the truck go 507 miles? Yes? it’s sufficient enough. I mean idk it just seems like nitpicking for something you won’t notice in the real world as you’ll be paying what like 20 bucks a week if you charge at home vs gas? I

I would say that this is slightly better than the ICE one due to the lack of chrome.

Nice of Jalopnik to spec the 911 photo with a rear wiper, right above that comment.

I have a AWD LYRIQ and its already quick enough for a comfy big SUV.

Oh, I’m on the lookout in the PNW area for exactly that, waiting for a decent (not black or grey) color and under 35, It honestly feels like I won’t have to wait very long.

I’m curious if switching from Aluminum to full plastic body panels would help with both weight and costs. I know I know, plastic, eek but if you can’t get the weight down from the Powertrain itself maybe the rest of the panels could use the plastic and perhaps more carbon treatment. Seemed to work well for Corvette.

I look forward to picking one up in a couple years for about 30k.

615-HP 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V Is The Quickest Cadillac Ever”

Oh- and they use the SAME exact battery, motors, and drivetrain components too.

To be fair, he says from “nearly empty” to 80, not 20 to 80. But, yes, the Ultium platform doesn’t have the highest charge rates, although I’ve heard the charge curve is decent.

It is not an Equinox, it is however sharing a platform with the Blazer EV, which is also expensive.

Yes but not really. Yes it is Ultium based, but the Hummer EV is also Ultium-based.

Pretty damn good looking, too. Nice job, Cadillac.

Sorry but that is utter crap.
