Damn.

It’s cute anyone think Musk actually runs any of these companies. I’m sure he just drifts in, doesn’t really understand what anyone is doing, makes a bunch of ridiculous demands that hinders or reverses any progress anyone is actually making, and then walks out with an unearned feeling of having done a good job.

Isn’t the real question, ‘who was running Tesla even before Musk decided to play politician?’

The only business he truly spend time at is Twitter, and it’s not going well. Other than that he’s just trolling around and explore new business venture like buying himself the American government.

For a guy who is the CEO of at least 5 different companies, he sure does have a LOT of spare time.

come on Mazda, take the risk!”

Interestingly enough, the Lexus GT3 car is supposedly built on the platform meant for that Mazda Vision GT concept.

And that Lexus spy vehicle is shaping up nicely as well. But seriously for Mazda its a toss up between that or this, and if either one get’s greenlit, I Will buy one:

That Mazda is flat out gorgeous. I would buy one if it came to market looking like that. It’s what Alfa Romeo should be building as their next car.

“and becoming a low-volume, high-end electric automaker is the best way to do so.”

The problem isn’t the “low volume luxury EV” part of the equation.

Yeah, if Supercharger-only driving isn’t “excessive”, what is?

Consider there is a finite number of people who have 60k+ to spend on a car.

Now consider we’ve added a bunch of new models over the past 8 years in that segment that have been eating into that sales pie.

Then consider the economy, white collar job layoffs, inflation.

Yeah, I think they’re screwed.

Even before the depreciation you get hit with as soon as you drive it off the lot, you have to factor in the value of that “free” charging and how much it’s lowering the value of the car once you take ownership since it’s non-transferrable.

The high-end EV market is really not doing well, and the cars in that segment are being sold with huge markups and losing half their value in a couple years. This is a tough hill for Jaguar to climb. I do hope it works out for them, and I understand that they had to do something different to try and survive.

A comment above explains that it is not a bonus in the American sense for an Austrian salary, so potentially just a bad translation there. However, there are employee contracts in America that include a pre-determined end of year bonus. I have a guaranteed bonus that can increase with certain metrics, but still have a

the tradeoffs are terrible. thats why people who can afford it will always choose to have a single family home on a piece of land that is separate from the neighbor. condos simply allow corporations to mass produce housing on a greater scale.

If Honda and Nissan merged, I’d be concerned that it could turn out to be a disaster for the better company like the Boeing/McDonnell Douglas merger did.

1st Gear: I’d buy a Nissan with a Honda powertrain, but not the other way around.

What does Nissan bring to the table?
