The distinction here is, Mazda will use a rotary engine purely as a range extender and not as the primary engine. I assume it will operate under a much narrow and more ideal envelope of conditions than what was used in the RX models. I also assume the rotary generator will be far more compact, quieter, smoother and

Convertibles are rarely lighter than coupes in the modern era. The added structure to make up for the lack of a roof more than adds what the fabric top saves.

Exactly. The numbers being bandied about today sound pretty awesome to *my* ears.

I mean, are we gonna split hairs here?

Its ok, jeep has thought a properly located front axle is worse if it costs a mm of travel. So a modern jeep is made of death wobble while every military ran to a proper suspension as soon as they could afford to do better than 1941.

This fixes none of the issues I have with the Challenger and adds a laundry list of new issues.

Plus, the ground clearance still looks like the car will still get stuck on a parking lot curb-stop.

The corruption is going to be off the charts. Truly government by an oligarchy.

I look forward to Trump stiffing him like he did Guiliani and the rest of his crew. There’s no honor among thieves.

The GOP isn’t pounding the table for drug testing leaders now? Shocking!

Musk can continue to receive and even increase the amount of benefit he receives from the government while cutting the budget for the rest of us.

I mean... The new 400Z (in basically every trim except for the very base) is overpriced for what it offers...

“It will be interesting to see how many of Trump’s infamous tariffs actually get imposed” Oh it’ll be a lot of them. *Technically* congress is supposed to be the one imposing tariffs, but there are several situations where the president can unilaterally impose tariffs. There’s an article here with solid information on

I live in Southern California, and I have seen exactly ONE Z since it came out. On the flip side, I see at least one GR Corolla a week, and they started production at almost exactly the same time.

Which I don’t even know why, you’re job is to sell the car. They should be proud to show it off and let people get in it and whatnot. With that said, I don’t know how I feel about them yet. I don’t think they’re ugly, but I don’t gravitate to them.

Musk is going to be Trumps Albert Speer.

When I went to go look at a new Z, the three dealers I went to either didn’t have one, or were jealously guarding the one they had such that I was not permitted to even sit in it. The dealers are going to kill this car.

I think it will always be around no matter what. But just for special cases. A few examples....like you said...Raptor R. Also the new GX550 and C8 ZR1 off the top of my head.

Intentionally short supply plus stupid people willing to pay over the odds equals big profits. Paying thousands of dollars more to save pennies in gas is baffling to me.

I thought this trend had died out 3 years ago, save for special cases like the Raptor R.
