There’s also the fact that many, many people just won’t fucking read what’s right in front of them.

I think people like this all do it for girls.

This. There is a line somewhere that says if you have to finance this, you shouldn’t have it. And a Ferrari is WAAAAY over that line...

That sounds like a time where you avoid any kind of settling, hire an attorney, and present this at a trial, with a countersuit.

Don’t install a dash cam. Install 2, front and rear. Single front cam is not enough anymore. I have dual dash cams on both of my cars, worth every penny. That’s how I caught a valet hitting my car against a column in a garage. Fucker tried to hide the fact. Once I told them I have 2 dash cams recording non-stop, they

I watch a lot of the daily dashcam compilation videos. There’s always a few, where the poster comes off looking like the asshole, and you wonder why they decided to share it with the world.

With all the additional tech bloat that modern cars come with as standard or options these days, it baffles me that dashcams never became a standard feature of all cars. I can’t really think of a reason why anyone wouldn’t want one unless they are up to nefarious acts and feel that a camera may track them or something

I had a driver hit me and then claim to her insurance company I hit her. When they called and said I was to blame I just asked where they wanted me to send my dash cam footage. They called me back ten minutes later and took full responsibility. I then asked them if THEIR driver had submitted the footage from the cam

A key difference being that my dashcam does not mysteriously turn itself off before I go all Leroy Jenkins on someone.

That’s why dashcams, like body cams, are so valuable. Accountability on both sides.

I’m an absolute deer in headlights when it comes to any kind of emergency. My kid puts his arm through a window, slices his hand and is bleeding everywhere.... I’m the guy staring at him in disbelief wondering ‘hmmm, I wonder what’s going to happen next.’ I’m thinking this woman might have been in the same boat -

I can’t count the number of times where something mildly insane happened to me and I later on wondered why the hell I didn’t do X, because obviously X would have been clear and reasonable thing to do, rather than Y, which was either somewhat useless or completely counter-productive. Things like this put us in weird

I’m at a loss to understand why the woman did not call the police and report an aggregated assault; attempted injury with a dangerous weapon, or something like that.  THAT would have gotten the cops to respond, and pretty much describes the crime.

FYI, there are also vehicle specific dashcams that replace your mirror mount, making them almost invisible, if that’s a concern for you.

Seeing the guy finally clock the dashcam and his face...

The big arch running down the centre really ruins the speedster vibe. A C3-style targa roof would look less stupid.

Not sure if this is getting any cool points actually. Posting a photo of the car in the middle of a yacht party already lost some. And their Stirling Moss is just MILES cooler. Then Ferrari made their SP1, Aston Martin did their Speedster, Mclaren did their Elva, and I’m just not sure who this is clawing at aside from

I literally mentioned it in the first paragraph.

You can experience light, air and passion unfiltered with all your senses. As the concept of our first Mythos vehicle, it embodies the highest level of exclusivity.”
