I just read about Tesla reneging on several leases in NY where they had started installing new charging stations. Another charging company is coming in on their heals to take the locations and exploit existing infrastructure that Tesla has already installed.

I’m not sure if news of Tesla overpromising and under delivering is more predictable news, or Ford issuing a recall.

They are at the point where they have read the writing on the wall they are about to crash into, and are just making the most of the ride as they make as much cash out of the wreck as they can. Why rock the boat and risk getting fired, when they can make more money just by doing nothing and enjoying the ride down.

Only time will tell where Tesla ends up.

What about the Cyberquad? When is it coming?

Yah, that’s just normal VAG spec.

When I saw “flooded Dubai Hypercars” I knew it was Ed Bolian.

Those chrome lights would look nice and clean with the teal. Sometimes simpler is better, and accents may be better used elsewhere on the car.

“Don’t worry, this is the reliable version of the 4.2l V8" - said no one who has ever worked on an Audi 4.2l V8.

I am selling the car to go shopping for flooded hypercars in Dubai

I already knew Missy Elliott was cool, but she drove one of these? That's awesome.

Polished barrels and black bolts.

LOVE the color choice, and the color-matched wheels. Are you doing polished barrels and chrome bolts? Something so different from the usual shades of gray with black wheels. Or red.

Why is it weird? I couldn’t drive it this winter anyway, why not?

Because I don’t want standard grey or black.

That’s fine. I like them.

These moves, with the charging team the latest cut, should be red flags X 1million to the BOD, and seriously look at ditching Musky.
Unless Musk truly believes the next Presidential admin. is going to shut off the funding tap for charging infrastructure??? (Which is even more baffling because his homeboy is

I typed essentially the same comment. It is truly baffling and aside from ultimately hurting the financials of the company, it will also deter talented people from wanting to work for such an unpredictable and illogical CEO.

Their network gives them a competitive advantage now, but inevitably charging locations will be as ubiquitous and interchangeable as gas stations. And highly competitive pricing will not make them a massively profitable sector, or at least not nearly as profitable as they would need to be for Tesla to justify it’s
