Why not mention federal and state rebates? Thats part of the story. Here in NJ that $28k Leaf ends up being near $23k out the door.

Tesla’s get a lot of undeserved hate sometimes(let me be clear, all the hate for Musk himself is fair) but I still would not buy a used one.    Honestly I get this feeling with a lot of EVs(since so many of the big manufacturers are following Tesla lead on things).  Something about how they operate and the choices

I’m making the final payment on a 60 month 0% APR loan this month. Time to get in debt again hahaha!

Oh look! Exactly the point I made there this morning:

Maybe, just maybe, just keep your car and don’t trade it in.

the numbers game is a dead end.”

IMO it’s not that they can’t be fun, it’s that it seemingly makes moving fast, less engaging.  As Matt Farrah said when he drove one a while back EV’s democratized speed/power.  You no longer need a 6+ figure sports car to get immense power and torque.

As Buttigieg done anything differently that would have prevented this? No. I’m certainly no fan of the Trump admin or Chao, but to place this blame at her feet seems crazy when, in regards to specifics like shifters Chao hasn’t done anything differently from any other Sec. of Transportation for the past 40 years.

SpaceX is attempting to do something never done before: build a massive rocket, launch it into space, and retrieve it successfully.”

The NHTSA has been turning a blind eye for years now and it stinks of corruption. So many have needlessly died in Teslas- many tragically burned alive.

You’re right, you aren’t the smartest person in the world. Tesla pays its employees money for their labor, and those employees pay taxes on that labor income. Once the employees get the money, it’s no longer Tesla’s.

No, they’re paying for labor. The employees pay taxes.

Hi, wealth manager here. Dodging income tax, like making sure to not take a “free” car that they’d have to pay income tax for the value on?  Like that kind of dodging income taxes?

First gear. At what point does “circling the drain” become “orbiting the drain”?  Fisker has been circling the drain for so many years, I think it might have a stable orbit now.

I need a CPA’s ruling on this, as it is my understanding that:

I can’t count the number of “races” I’ve been without realizing I was in a race, or wanting to be in said race. I have a Golf R—which somebody earlier in the thread already pointed out makes me an asshole—but contrary to popular belief, I don’t want to drag race at every stoplight when I’m next to a Tesla.

Hahaha so true. Golf R drivers in my region are bearded millennials that grew out of Subaru WRXs and STIs. Never seen a younger zoomer drive a Golf R, thought plenty of them drive GTIs.

Obvious answer is obvious answer. Altima.

Well considering most people are assholes the low-hanging fruit is “every car.”
