The issue with the Cybertruck bed is that the length is not consistent across the depth of the bed. The rear wall of the cab slopes; so at the floor of the bed the overall length is 6’1”, but as you move upwards it shrinks down to 4’11”. This means that an item 30” in height can only fit inside the bed if it is less

I seem to recall Trumps campaign and spokespeople being pretty clear that under his administration “there will be economic pain” for Americans. I don’t know why some Americans who aren’t rich thought that pain would somehow exclude them; but here we are. Guess we will all find out together if he actually follows throug

So we spend millions in tax dollars to build and maintain our roads, and now we spend more money to damage them on purpose.

So is an EX30 a “luxury car” or a “value car”?

The dual motor EX30 starts at $45k. Very lightly used (<5k miles) 2024 Lyriq AWD Sport 1 and Luxury 1 trims are starting to pop up for $45k or less. Those cars still have the factory warranty and have barely been driven. A two second search turned up a AWD Luxury 3 trim in Wisconsin with 11k miles for $48k. Seems

I did say “used” Lyriq. Those are dipping into the $40k-$50k range.

Im curious how this model pans out and what initial owner experiences will be. It’s a tempting option, but I’m not 100% convinced that you wouldn’t be better off buying a used Lyriq instead.

I also thought these would be impacted by the tariff, which was part of the reason for the delays. Volvo may have decided to eat some cost for these initial orders to save face with customers and get some cars on the road; and then announce a price hike at the end of the year or early 2025.

I doubt it. Volvo was going to build these in China and Belgium (but EU production doesn’t start until sometime in 2025). I haven’t seen any announcements of US production for the EX30.

Funny that you mention this, because it was one of the reasons I actually gave Audi a look in the first place; relative to other makes, Audi still offered physical buttons for a lot of the controls. That probably changed with their newest generation of vehicles.

Aye, personally I agree; but it’s how things tend to work with luxury goods. Rich people are willing to pay extra for the privilege. Similar to how a luxury hotel charges for WiFi and breakfast, when the Holiday Inn includes both in the rate.

I think it’s ok to clone something like a Lancia Stratos; which isn’t being made anymore and the original ones are essentially unobtainable. But I agree that cloning any contemporary car is kind of silly.

Oh yes.

You must have been alongside me on my drive to work yesterday. Seriously, that description was accurate to a tee!

Audi became too expensive for what they are. Every new Audi I’ve looked at in the last two years has felt overpriced for what it is.

Surely the people behind this body kit knew that they were skating on thin ice, no?

Well… we all get to find out now just how dangerous Musk really is.

Unfortunately the state court bought his attorneys excuse that it wasn’t a lottery, but that the PAC selected a “paid spokesperson” to award the $1 million.

Not going to happen as long as they keep saying: “still love the truck though” after whatever complaints they might have.

Ok, I see what you’ve put down, and I’m backing away slowly.
