I’m sure Zuck was “ready”, but something tells me he’s still bluffing with all of this. Seriously, what kind of trained fighter takes on an opponent who he knows can’t hold his own?

This has to be the greatest example of “hold me back, bro!” in recorded history. Musk and Zuck have the resources to make this happen in 5 minutes if they wanted it to… except here we still are 12 months later. The best part is that nobody is holding them back, rather everyone seems to be encouraging it (well, except…
I’m not that familiar with buybacks, but wouldn’t these cars have some type of warranty from GM for the repairs? I assume they still have the original 8 year/100k miles warranty on the battery at least, no?
I’m sure this new AMG GT is objectively better than the previous one.. but the previous one just looked so much better. This one almost looks like a caricature of the last one to me; as if a street artist made a comical sketch with a giant goofy grin and exaggerated eyes.
Your information is outdated, Dark Horse pricing already increased to $61,080 for 2024. Now with the new increases for 2025 the base Dark Horse will cost $64,875. The Dark Horse Premium will now cost $69,870.
True, I guess that’s why their response was so oddly specific.
Well said. In the end one always has to “do the math”. When I was looking to potentially buy an eTron GT RS, I asked about both the purchase price and the lease cost to compare them. The lease cost was essentially the depreciation minus the $7,500 credit. Then I found several for sale that were a year old, CPO, with…
I mean, I linked just one article. There are other articles and videos out there of interviews with him where he defends the design and praises it.
I normally would fall in the camp that leasing (unless paid for by your employer or a write off) is generally a bad idea. That being said, the depreciation on the EQS, e-Tron, Taycan, etc. has been “well above average”. So if someone really wants one of these, I think leasing is much less bad of an idea.
No one else is building a V-8 sports car with a 486-hp V8 or 500-hp V8 Dark Horse at this price point.
He seems plenty proud of the design from the comments and interviews I’ve seen with him.
I suspect that they can mount a different tire, they just won’t be able to use the wheel covers then. But yes, it’s absolutely an idiotic design choice; and one that creates more problems than it solves.
Well, yes, that too.
The Cybertruck has to be one of the ultimate expressions of form > function. Designers had complete creative freedom thanks to the packaging of the EV drivetrain and lack of precedent for a Tesla truck, and it seems like every decision they made was purely to prioritize the form over the actual function of the…
If the depreciation is anything like the Taycan it might not even take 4 years to drop to 50% of its original value.
$230,000…. before options… for a Panamera. Who is this car for? At that price point you can pretty much buy a 911 and a regular Panamera to haul the kids around in. I know Porsche said they would be raising prices across the board, but this just seems ridiculous.
Surprised to see that many Subarus on this list. I wasn’t particularly impressed with the last few Subarus I have been in, specifically in terms of road noise and cabin comfort. Not saying they were bad cars, just not what I would think of when the operative word is “comfort”.
It wasn’t quite as bad before the Citizens United decision. And seeing as how the Supreme Court has established that stare decisis isn’t a thing anymore, I guess that can be overturned too.
I honestly don’t want this story to get any more “interesting”. I want politics to be predictable and “boring”, oh and also… no more super pacs and all this money being thrown into politics. Campaigns should be funded by the government and budget capped. It should be about the ideas, not the money.
^ This! Vance is only in it for himself. He’s not loyal to anyone or anything except JD Vance. He’s a bigger long term threat than Trump is and he’s already sold himself to the likes of Thiel and Musk.
