It wasn’t that long ago that every government and NGO was collectively screaming about “overpopulation”. Now all of a sudden people aren’t having enough babies. Maybe the problem isn’t how many babies people are having at all; but rather, how effectively our governments can manage resources and balance externalities

Please let this be a trend that catches on.

Agreed.

Yes. Hence my surprise that “it isn’t illegal to do this”.

I’m seriously surprised it isn’t illegal to do this. It’s like driving around with a giant mirror stuck to your car. Surely it breaks some kind of law, no?

Who knew the center of Hell was Nebraska?

This is always the pain of supercars. They are the very best cars built in their time, and they spend the least time actually being driven. That’s part of the reason I don’t find it entirely unreasonable that companies like Ferrari and others are asking for some exemptions or carve outs from new emissions regulations.

No Bugatti for you then. Sorry.

I absolutely love the engine and the engineering. I’m not entirely sold on the exterior design to be honest. The long pointy nose just seems weird in comparison to the almost blunt front ends of the EB110, Veyron, and the Chiron.

I honestly hope that other brands are paying attention. EVs have an advantage on power; they are/will become the performance kings. When an EV shaped like a brick is just as quick as a Ferrari, maybe it’s time that Ferrari goes back to its roots and gives us something an EV can’t: a soundtrack that can make an angel

Mazda Demio, too bad we didn’t get them in the US anymore (but apparently Puerto Rico did?). An actual fun to drive econobox with a very compact footprint and a livable interior. Although having only a 1.3 or 1.5 L engine (83hp or 115 hp), the little car only weighs about 2,150 lbs.

It’s a fun party trick the first few times, but it wears thin pretty quickly. The other thing is that this car weighs over 5,000 lbs; which you do feel in a corner.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: EVs are too damn powerful. Nobody needs this kind of power. Nobody.

Well, apparently the guy who ordered this one is now in jail for money laundering… so… yeah… obscene and vulgar about covers it.

Nope. Not better. The split grille is an improvement in my opinion; but I’ll take it a step further and say Nissan should have made the divider even thicker and shaped the ends of the upper grille somewhat so it doesn’t look so much like a mail slot.

I’ve seen precisely one in the wild. I nearly missed it, because the silhouette looks so much like the previous 350Z; but then the traffic moved and I saw the tail lights and knew it was the new one. They do have road presence; even if it’s not how I would spend $60k.

The point shouldn’t be whether or not the vehicle was bought new recently, or even how expensive it was for that matter; the point should be that any manufacturer who discovers a manufacturing defect or issue that originated at the factory should be responsible for correcting that issue and not push the burden created

^this!

Sports cars always tend to have longer life cycles; just look at the historical data across brands. The C8 still has new iterations of the model coming out; i.e. the Z06, E-Ray, and now this summer the ZR1.

Wait a minute… I’ve apparently been living under a rock this whole time. The Model 3 did not have a blind spot monitoring system until this latest refresh in (checks notes) 2024? Seriously?
