Two of them for sale on BAT right now…. watching both auctions.
I agree the S2000 is definitely one to preserve; but it is already in “collector status”; just look at what they sell for these days.
There is definitely a market for these. Just look at the history on BAT and other auto auction sites. I think the current Lexus LC500 is next in line to follow the trend being set by the SC430.
I’ve also owned a set of the Continental Extreme DWS on my “not so grand” tourer, it really is a great tire.
Maybe outlier due to C8 Corvette? There was a while when you had to pay a mark up and wait months to put an order in.
I wonder what the current interest rates are on car loans...
It’s a good question. Maybe they are including the PHEVs on this list?
Hertz and Sixt both, if I’m not mistaken.
The standard Taycan is not a liftback, only the CT has that feature.
Not really surprised by this outcome. Tire manufacturers often leapfrog one another as they learn from their competition and release new versions of their tires. The great thing for all of us is that there are several great tire options in just about every category. Last year was “new tire time” for both my current…
I have my doubts that Nissan is going to give us a successor to the GT-R. If they do, it’s probably going to be very limited production and cost a fortune (not unlike the Italdesign GT-R50). I’d almost rather Nissan give us an S15 revival, rather than some ridiculous $1 million, 1000 hp hybrid R36. But given how…

There is definitely an ongoing “arms race” driven by the need to feel “protected” from the other excessively large vehicles already on the road.
Hey now, they are probably still traumatized by all those backwards driving DAF racers. That wing could very well be the first thing to hit a pedestrian.
I mean, Mephisto is all about that low hanging fruit… why spend any effort trying to corrupt people when there are plenty of Christians who are already corrupt?
There are most definitely “unidentified flying objects” out there…. and the government would very much like to keep them “unidentified”… at least until they are ready to declassify them because they already have something better to replace them.
So, it will be 50% cheaper after 10k miles and 1 year like the other Taycans?
As noted in the article, it’s not “the first ever”, but it is in rare company.
