So the lawyer, who was hired and paid by Red Bull, is “independent”?

Unpopular opinion:
Obligatory:
I’m not entirely opposed to the idea of getting PPF applied from the factory, but for $6,000 one would have to imagine that Ford could spray a satin finish clear coat over top the paint. <shrug>
Not the same thing. PPF protects the paint from minor scrapes, nicks, and scratches. How does the original owner not benefit from having that little bit of peace of mind? Also, other than the up front cost, what’s the down side to PPF? Are you going to feel hot and sticky rolling across the hood of your car in the…
“People should always be able to count on Tesla trying its best.”
Please don’t give them any ideas… could you imagine if their entire lineup looked like the Cybertruck?
At this point, I’m not so sure Tesla should even bother with the Roadster anymore. Seems to me like they need to focus on replacing their aging models (S and X) and “ramping up” Cybertruck production (🤢).
Millions you say?
I… I have literally done exactly this for my travel mug. I also designed and 3D printed inserts that hold our coffee mugs in the cup-holders on the sofa. Guess I should go look into setting up an online store.
There are some special editions and trims that Porsche limits, but as a model the 911 is not “limited production”.
I agree with you that these were wildly overpriced to begin with. But Porsche has a certain hold on the market and has only continued to raise prices across the lineup.
Police unions don’t work like that, they exist to protect all officers (including the chief) from being held accountable.
Lucky for us Toyota does offer it with a turbo V6… it just has a Lexus badge and starts at $64,250.
Exactly. It’s not “$23k cheaper” either. Our U.S. “Land Cruiser” is a different truck altogether from the global Land Cruiser; which is still sold here as the Lexus LX and costs $93k+.
With all due respect… if you think a 4Runner “rides well” then I think you don’t really have a very good frame of reference for what “rides well” actually means.
Yeah, this whole “it’s $23k cheaper” narrative Toyota is trying to push is pure nonsense. This new generation is a Land Cruiser in name only. The global Land Cruiser is a different truck altogether, and it’s still sold here in the U.S. as the Lexus LX ($93,915+).
Ford has played this tune for several years now, and it’s not the first time in Farley’s tenure as CEO even that he’s addressed this problem. So consider me skeptical of the claim that Ford has it figured out this time… as they say: the proof is in the pudding.
Aren’t all forms of “modernization” a “modification” of the original?
Just like “military grade”… which doesn’t exactly mean what most people think it means.
