I’ve been done with F1 for a good while now, but this decision is just pathetic. Should I list the current participating teams who have been “uncompetitive” for quite a while? Are those not a drag on the sport? Any new team is going to struggle, going to have to learn, and have to overcome challenges. Isn’t that the

^This. The best thing the media could do for the sanity and wellbeing of our nation, is to stop giving Trump the spotlight. But unfortunately research has demonstrated that rage and anger are great ways to get people to engage with content, so here we are…

The cost to widen and lengthen the CX-60 probably didn’t make sense when they already have the larger CX-90 body available.

It’s kind of funny to me, because one of the (valid) criticisms Mazda got about several of their recent SUVs was that the trunk space was small in comparison to the competition. Well, this is one way to ensure there is adequate trunk space and it still drives like a Mazda. Haha.

My guess is that because 3-rows are more popular at the moment, Mazda prioritized that one first. But agreed that had it been the other way around people wouldn’t be making as much of a fuss about it.

One would assume that she meant she doesn’t have cash on hand to just turn around and buy another vehicle; given that she already sent that money to Vroom.

Exactly! Cost of ownership and environmental benefits are long term things, smoking the neighbor’s Porsche in a stoplight race is instant gratification.

They look blocky, but there is actually an aero feature in the middle of that support.

BTW. These the arguments that our elected officials should be having amongst themselves. Where is itappropriate to regulate? Not showing Hunter Biden (a private citizen) dick pics.

I think it’s partially because most people are looking for some form of instant gratification. EV manufacturers needed “something” to make their products immediately appealing to consumers. Saving money over 10-15 years of ownership is nice (assuming people even keep the car that long), but that’s not going to scratch

But they are following the “will of the people”… only the people they listen to also happen to be the ones stuffing their pockets with “campaign contributions”.

2025… trust me bro!

Musk is not confused. He pursues whatever strategy he thinks will result in obtaining more money or power. That’s it. It’s that simple.

Redman was built different. Haha.

Yeah, but even Tesla knows that you don’t really want one of those…

Thanks for this clear and concise explanation. Your cliff notes version has provided me with enough information to know that I do not need to engage further with “Mr. Beast”. Also think you handled it well with your son (not that my opinion on that really matters).

I guess Im trying to understand the cost-benefit of this new active version compared to the already existing passive version of these tire skirts? I mean, is the added cost and complexity of the active skirt worth it in the long run?

I honestly don’t know enough about “Mr Beast” to comment about him or his business. Although the fact that I see his name and likeness popping up everywhere would suggest that he’s doing very well for himself. I’m not quite sure I understand the point of his videos; other than raking in advertising dollars… so yeah… I

It’s cool, but was it really necessary to make them “active”? Would the penalty of having “passive” skirts to direct air around the tires during lower speeds have negated the benefits at higher speed?

I agree with you that the board, if it were actually doing its fiduciary duty, would remove him as CEO and put someone in charge who actually has time to manage Tesla. However, remember that this is the same board who approved his recent compensation package, which led to shareholders suing the company (lawsuit still
