We already knew this, no? People were commenting on the original article about this stunt that the claimed length of the race was a lie. Granted, we aren’t Jason from Engineering Explained, but I think it’s been pretty much established for a while now that this particular claim about the Cybertruck was man-child

Yeesh indeed. I liked Ares’ take on a Mulsanne Coupe; but I don’t feel the same about the S1.

No four round taillights, but Ares is doing a complete new body for the C8. Personally I don’t think it looks “better” than the standard C8, but it’s definitely “different” and a lot smoother.

I think it’s pretty well known at this point that there will be an ICE version powered by the Hurricane I6. However, there hasn’t been anything concrete yet to indicate a 4-door version is coming. I doubt a police version is reason enough on its own for Dodge to make a 4 door version. It seems these days that police

Dodge would honestly just be better off giving owners the option to play “old school” v8 noises through the vehicle speakers.

Didn’t Brightline receive billions in tax-exempt federal and state bonds, in addition to several hundred million invested by the state of Florida to build terminals? Also, doesn’t Brightline pass the cost of maintenance at public at-grade crossings on to the local municipality?

Interesting…

Porsche said last year they would be increasing pricing across the line up about 15% as new models roll out. I think it’s safe to assume that will apply for their EVs too.

But hey! You don’t need a pilots license for those 20 miles! So you know… that’s something I guess….

Didn’t they originally say that the Blackfly was going to cost the same as a luxury SUV? I guess they meant more along the lines of an Urus than a Navigator.

The best part is that most of the time they are completely spotless too. Not a spec of dirt on them.

You can find used Mini SEs for <$25k now; with some of them being less than a year old (2023 model) and having driven just a few thousand miles. Especially with Mini preparing to roll out the next generation EV Cooper, it seems dealers are eager to clear out their existing EV inventory. Depending on your income level,

Infinite growth baby!

They built one, showed it off to everyone, let people place an order, and then never delivered them to customers. So the cars were promised to customers, but then the plan to actually build and deliver them “vaporized” (along with the money invested). So I’d say it counts as “vaporware”.

I like the idea of these modular plug and play systems; but let’s be realistic, anyone buying more than 10 kWh worth of batteries probably isn’t really looking for “portability”; at least not in the sense that they are going to be moving those batteries around by hand. Those 20+ kWh systems are essentially a permanent

However, if Tesla decided to team up with Disney…

If you spend the big money and get one out of a Raptor, you’ll be playing with 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque.

Im not so sure you would actually get that much more enjoyment out of a manual swap in an LC500. It’s a great car, but it’s not exactly a back road stormer; it’s a little too soft for that. You may be better off looking for a manual V8/V12 Vantage.

It also… doesn’t actually sound that great. I mean, maybe for the current era of turbo choked exhaust noises, but in an overall sense…
