I dailied a 350Z for about 12 years. It’s a far better chassis than people give it credit for. Really good amount of suspension travel for a sporty car and they are mechanically sound if you treat them with even a little bit of mechanical sympathy.

Didn’t they switch to a less sophisticated rear suspension design after this generation? I tend to think the last few years of this gen were peak maxima, with the 190 hp engine.

I like the spiderman one!

Its because this game is fun for gamers not just for sim racing nerds. I love cars and I love my sims, but lets face it, we are the tiniest littlest sliver of the “video game consumer” pie. When I get on Horizon 5, the game will casually mention that I haven’t discovered as much of the map as my buddy who drives an

I don’t think anyone thinks that the time they’re doing other things (sleeping, working) while having a rubber band around the controller is considered time they spent “playing the game.”

Forza (and sort of encyclopedic racing sims in general) are a little unique in the gaming world though. While the horizon games take the form of a big open world game, they are, effectively, far more “sandboxy” than most games out there. There are a ton of players who simply do not care about games or gaming and just

I still really want an old 240d with the 4-speed manual. It’s the most 10/10ths car i’ve ever driven. Literally, drive it like that and barely break the law, its amazing.

I bet i know what the designers were thinking:

Woah. I unconsciously read YOUR comment in Owen Wilson’s voice while staring straight at the picture of Dennis Hopper.

That’s the point though. By your logic they absolutely have NOT called for your mother to be raped or killed.

Feels like around $75K is the cutoff where manufacturers are like “nope. This performance car is too fast for a manual.” I bet that number keeps coming down too.

Who even needs big brakes anyway?

I don’t think I quite agree with the E92 being peak BMW. It’s certainly up there, don’t get me wrong. But I see less of a peak and more of a plateau. I don’t know if I can call it definitively better than the E46 before it or the F87 after it.

Honestly, I think the A3 looks really awkward due to how aggressive the design is. It looks a lot more normal on the S3 where there’s less of a wheel gap. The fender flares start to make a bit more sense and the thing looks less embarrassed for its self.

Yeah, its cool to like hatches in the states because we get sedans a lot more often. And I do like the practicality of a hatchback, but ultimately i think sedans are better looking about 70 percent of the time.

Goddamn. My decision to “not watch the NFL anymore” is looking pretty good in hindsight.

One of my all time favorite stand up specials.

Dude, the right only looks that way because we’re on the left. Trust me, i know some (relatively sane) conservatives and they’re pretty unhappy about the “political missteps” (I prefer to call it treason) perpetrated by people on the right.

It’ll likely be very track dependent. The stands at the track we used to race on here in Washington (the ridge) did not have good spectating as it was hard to see most of the track. But I did a race in Sonoma that would’ve been spectacular to watch at thanks to the NASCAR facilities and stands. If you’re spectating

This exactly. I don’t think they’ve ever even asked about the price of my car (it was a bit over $2k.) they’re just not worried about it if you (for instance) bring a compact American car from the 70s on its original engine.
