It’s true in a lot of the comics, too. Also, he marries a clone of his dead wife and no one seems to notice ahead of time that they are the same person, so he’s fairly dumb.

Thank god that "playing the characters in my party enough" isn't an issue anymore. Characters all level, no matter who I use. I remember FF games where they would be like "ok, it's just you and this guy now!" Fuck! I never used him, I'm level 22 and he's stuck at 3 and useless.

I believe it did, but I never played those. My aunt gave me a disc called "Fantasy 5" for my birthday. It included Kings Quest 2, The Magic Candle 3, Might and Magice 3: Isles of Terra, Populus, and The Summoning. It was really my introduction to a lot of great gaming.

Try a custom launcher, like Docky or Launchy. Way, way faster that the start menu. I'm on Win7 and I actively kill my start menu, and have done so since XP.

That's generally how it is. It's not "how good of a TV show is this" as much of "How good an episode of this TV show was it?"

That's going to cut you out of a LOT of good television. There are tons of good shows where the first season isn't good. Buffy, ST:TNG, Babylon 5, Parks and Recreation, etc.
