Yes but what’s the % if folks who have that cost wrapped into their monthly phone bill? If cable providers started offering $1000 TVs that were as good as any TV you could buy I bet you’d see everyone getting a new TV every couple years.

Oh yes we know. The team that handles that has been trying to get a solid windows 10 image going for almost a year. The side of our corporation that handles that is the largest so they provide the vast majority of IT services for all the sister companies given that they’re over 100 strong but they are also an…
Yep not uncommon at all for businesses, especially retail, to not understand the value of technology and roll with a if it’s not broke don’t fix it mindset.
I just want to point out kids that real men DO cry. Just not over videogame money matches.
Yea there is definitely a niche of gamers for whom the Xbox is ideal and a lot of it sits around the non-gaming features.
Fahey makes a tremendous point any viewing distance on a 4k tv. We have a 49" and 55" next to each other both 4k and sit about 4 feet from them. I have had the argument with numerous people but the data doesn’t lie, you HAVE to be close enough for 4k to look different from 1080p. If you don’t have the living room…
I’ve been saying this since they did it. The 1 reason to pick up a console you don’t have is because it plays games you can’t get on what you have. PC gaming being so prevalent a lot of folks already have 1. I’ve got a Pro because there are a shit ton of games on it I can’t get anywhere else. If I want to spend…
I almost did it last night. The itch for Gloomhaven and a long campaign and I almost did it. I opted against it thought. Ended up picking up this war of mine and scythe.
Oh man that’s madness. I just can’t do it haha. I’d love to but I can think of a lot of other things I’d want to spend that cash on like 5 other board games. I just can’t drop it all on 1.
The game looks great on a pro but I must say my wife plays on a ps4 on an identical 4k tv right next to my pro setup and its truly incredible what they’ve squeezed out of the original hardware. The differences are really negligible, it simply looks amazing on the pro and regular ps4.
Yea I understand, it definitely doesn’t have the campaign depth of Gloomhaven or KD:M. Perdition’s Mouth is totally a game you buy for the mechanics they have for going through a dungeon. It is either the sell or pass the decision. Everything else is fine, it just doesn’t standout from the crowd in other aspects.
Which isn’t too big of a shock. They take the 1 character that can res and arguably make it more effective. Sure, she’s lost full team res game changing moments but being able to res a single character every 30 seconds has made it more difficult for a team to chip away 1 character at a time like on choke points where…
IMO the issue here is Mercy. All the other healers have a more even slant between damage and healing. She’s the only 1 that is slanted so heavily towards healing and doesn’t really fit in with the other cast off healers. I love what Mercy does but she stands so far alone in regard to healing that she is practically a…
It sounds so good. If I didn’t have PM already and Gloomhaven soon to be in the mail I’d be all over it. It honestly it’s probably the best there is excluding the very very limited field if diceless games. I hope the success of Gloomhaven spawns more games that rely on cards over dice. Even with the randomness if…
1 way or another those foreigners are going to take our American jobs!!! Thanks Obama!
While she probably won’t be great at healing or DPS I feel like she is seriously going to put a dent in the usage of some of the other healers. Her attacks seem similar to symettra, low range but auto targets. Her healing looks like an AOE thing probably about as effective as Lucio’s while obviously only being…
I’ve looked at KD:M a lot but 1 thing stops me, the dice. Perdition’s Mouth has fully ruined me on dice as well, it is so much more interesting to use this rondel mechanic over dice. There’s actually another KS going on for a reprint if you’re interested. It doesn’t ship til next year but if you go with their all-in…
I’ve taken it a stretch further. My wife will game but she much prefers video games so I get a board game night out of her maybe once a month so I’ve made it a rule that all my future board games have to support solo play and do it well as I’ve got far too many that don’t that never get brought out. Recently I…
This is a totally different game though. I love hearthstone and it doesn’t affect my enjoyment of munchkin. Munchkin has its place as does hearthstone.
This is the problem with board games that just have these ‘add if you please’ type expansions. All the zombicide games come to mind, adding in the small expansion boxes takes a lot of work to balance everything out.
