How so?

A lot of things were different 30 years ago. In this political climate, I sincerely doubt any government agency would intentionally drop explosives on a group of black protestors, armed or not.

You're probably right about that one. Which says more about the government's aversion to armed conflict than it does about the race of the opponent. No President wants another Waco on his watch.

That's pretty much in line with British thinking in 1775.

The police wouldn't be pushing them around so much, that's for sure.

Most of them are white, actually.

There are hundreds of white people at these protests. They're not just taking place in the Dakotas, either. The pipeline cuts across the entirety of Iowa, and farm owners have been protesting this for years.

Just to set the record straight, there's no closet about it, Ivanka is a straight up liberal. She has been a registered democrat her entire voting life, and couldn't even vote for her dad in the NY primaries because you have to be a registered republican to vote. She's also very close long-time friends with Chelsea

Wasn't there a long period of time during which Brad and Angelina used gay marriage rights as an excuse why they weren't getting marriage?

Thanks for the correction. That was bothering me too. The incorrect placement of Jr. is part of the joke!

Well, as intellectually stimulating as this has been, I think we're done here.

Thanks for jumping in with your valuable opinion. I'll take it under consideration.

"…it impossible for anyone to stay classy."

Nice edit on your original response to me, BTW. For the record, here's what I was referring to:

"I'm not going to continue this conversation because…."

Hm. Sorry you're not deriving as much value as you apparently used to from your free entertainment.

Are you saying "Ah," as in "there it is…" or as in "that's so refreshing…"?

We certainly wouldn't want our leaders driven by a sense of altruism or civic duty. That would be completely unreasonable.

Interesting that you had to read into the 12th paragraph of the article to learn that the protestors were part of the BLM movement. Almost as if that fact weren't relevant, or maybe just not convenient to the national media narrative.
