Contracts for most shows are generally for 5-6 seasons. So most if not all the OG Season 1 cast is usually placed on this timetable. So when season 6 of a show comes and a character wants to leave, they can legally do so because their contract has expired and they chosed to not renewed it. Doe sthat make sense? …

And all those flashbacks and never before scenes irked me. I wished they had shown them in the early episode instead.

I don't think the book will have anything juicy as all actors sign NDA (non-disclosure agreements) which means that they can't talk about a lot of the stuff we want to know.

Wes is the red herring, the person who shot Annaliese is most likely either Bonnie (because she was revealed to be Rebecca's killer) or Eve(Famke Jensen) heck maybe even Nate. This is due to Annaliese's speech about a murderer being someone you know (i.e. a friend, a co-worker, a loved one, etc.)

Well wasn't it after season 2 that Kevin Williamson moved away from the The Vampire Diaries? I feel that once he handed over the reigns to Julie Plec completely the show fell apart.
