THAT THING IS A KILLING MACHINE!”

Man, Chicagoans just went around looking for illegal shit to do, didn’t they?

Why not just cross The Tick into the dragon tattoo series? Lisabeth is fighting cyber criminals and crosses paths with The Tick. Will this wacky mismatched pair succeed? You better tune in to fine out!

The Spanish put an end to Boris I’s reign, responding with overwhelming force in the form of three constables and a sergeant, who handcuffed him and dragged him out of the country.

Do either of those princes ever travel to a small American town during Christmas and fall for a college student who bakes muffins for a living? Because Hallmark tells me that happens all the time.

It’s very different. At least the pilot is. I checked out of the CW shows years ago. This was a lot of fun.

I watched this with my 11 year old last night. It was very entertaining. The opening battle was frankly, awesome. My kid went nuts when Brainwave, said, “Grundy...” and Soloman Grundy burst through the door and chased the car.

Also, for those interested, the score in this is composed by Pinar Toprak of Captain Marvel fame. An excellent choice IMHO.

Yep, the recent add to Netflix is the entirety of the series. All five seasons, including the Yahoo season.

I still think that the most Community thing to do would be to do a film adaptation of Waiting For Godot with Magnitude and Starburns waiting for the study group. Then as soon as the study group shows up, smash cut to credits, end of film.

BONG

I got a Community notification for—oh wait, that makes sense.

Yeah, here’s hoping. I sort of doubt he’s got a script at the moment. In the past, he’s seemed cagey about it, and I 100% can see why. It’s hard. The expectations alone would be enough to make anyone reticent to try.

It’s like we were in a car accident we didn’t cause, we’re still trapped inside the overturned car, and when you ask “How are we going to get out of this car?” Republicans just keep yelling “I didn’t cause this accident!”

I’ve been pretty iffy about this but I’ll give the CW showings a watch to see. After 8 years I’m kind of tired of the Arrowverses brand of superheroism.

Yes, yes, Obama was relentlessly surface level. When GDP was in decline and the unemployment rate was over 10%, turning the economy around and bringing unemployment under 5% was surface level stuff.

Is it just me or have a lot of the episodes this season had a theme of Morty trying to gain some agency in his relationship with Rick and Rick vindictively punishing him for it? Even for a show as dark and cynical as this so often is, it’s starting to feel a little mean-spirited.

@james_deriven:disqus - I guess what clinched my dislike of this was less the sub-Doctor Who production design and F/x work, than the fact it's not a remotely accurate adaptation of John Varley's story. They took a SF premise that was actually kind of interesting, and turned it into an Eighties Action Flick With

Donnie Yen as Chan. Done, the movie writes itself. I am willing to sell this idea for one million dollars.

They stop fighting when it is revealed that both their mothers are named Meihui.
