I don't know about the game stuff. They may be bringing them back to come up with some kind of standard licensing contract going forward with all their properties, but Disney tried having an in house game studio and failed with the last Turok game and they closed another one they just acquired in Lucas Arts(granted

Jaxxon's coming back! 2015!

Yeah, that one thing I've kind of been worried about with the inevitability of this happening. The only way I buy Star Wars comics are in those omnibus editions and the hardcovers that match (like Dark Empire Trilogy Crimson Empire Trilogy etc). They're an awesome value, but I'm no where near complete on those or in a

Oh my lord she needs to realize how stupid she sounds saying "It's a GAME!" No shit! You're on a sports network. What are you covering. Does the world hang in the balance when you play your next tennis match? Guess what tennis is? It's a GAME! I'll freely admit to thinking the whole idea of esports was stupid when it

Not the one that purchased the game.

Sorry, my bad, that was probably meant to be a response to his post.

This is the same DRM that ALL consoles have for digital titles. It's better than some actually. These guys weren't signed in with the account that purchased the game, and were not on the system the game was purchased on. They only had to be one of the two to be completely fine. Doing neither doesn't work so well on

Because you're playing the games on the system you purchased them on, or with the account you purchased them with. These guys were doing neither. Pretty much a lack of logic on their part as opposed to the system's fault.

This would only happen though if you tried like these people, to play a digital game on an account that didn't purchase the game, with a Box that the game was also not purchased on. Not sure what system would actually ever let you do THAT.

Because you are signed in with the account that purchased those games. These guys were not using the console they purchased the game on, nor were they signed in with the account that they purchased the game with. Seems like a lack of logic on their part.

Because you were signed in with the account you bought the games with. These people for some reason were not.

Yes, that scary future where you actually have to use either the account or the system you bought a digital download game on to actually play it. If you go putting the same downloaded game on several systems and don't have the account signed in you bought it with you're kind of asking for this. How else would they

It would be nice if SOMETHING other than the current version (and the most popular previous versions)of the same series that have been on the tournament scene for a decade or so would last as a regular for more than a year or two. This game is actually pretty enjoyable to watch in tournament play. Wouldn't mind seeing

Because you're still signed in with the Steam account you bought the game with. These people were NOT.

Nope. Closest thing is the Pinultimate Edition from Microsoft Retail Stores. I explained it in this thread to another who replied to you, but basically it's a physical package with some cool stuff, but still not disc based.

That's still not a disc version. It's a folio type display case for Pinny Arcade Pins designed especially for the game with a special download code that gives you the Ultra version of the game (which itself includes KI Classic) and registers you as a Pinultimate Edition owner so your in game performance over the next

Anybody know if this affects the Marvel vs Capcom Origins collection that's on LIVE and PSN as well? I may need to pick that up before it no longer exists if it's also a part of this deal.

Nah Marvel's always been like this with their game licensing. They made Activision take down all the Marvel Ultimate Alliance DLC a while back too. I've never heard of Disney doing anything like this with any of their licensed games... and there's a lot.

No, they pretty much said it doesn't. If a game on XBLA from 360, that you purchase is remade and brought over to XB1 you'll maybe have it on your account to not have to pay for though. Not sure how that will work, if it even happens. Kinda hoping if I buy Spartan Assault for my XB1 I can also download and play it on

Really? I thought it was maybe first time in a Street Fighter game. I was might be Haggar using an altered model from UMvC3, or MAYBE Strider to coincide/help promote the fact that he's getting his own new game soonish. But if its the first time for them in a fighting game, then I have NO clue.
