"But who do they think is actually watching this?"

Also Remedy's new game and a Spielberg Halo TV series.

8 are new IPs. That's all they've said. More at E3 All the games will be out in the first year.

My wife LOVES Mario Party. She doesn't enjoy too many games. She used to like Animal Crossing on the Gamecube and played WoW pretty hardcore back during Vanilla and Cataclysm before she got pregnant and couldn't sit at a monitor that long anymore. She doesn't care much for chaos for the most part, she's actually

Especially when you've already got two seasons worth of scripts already written just sitting there. That's gotta be a good chunk of cash saved.

Not quite. 1313 was supposed to tie into the show, but when the show got put on hold (waiting for the SFX they needed to become more affordable, they have 50 some full scripts for episodes done and on the shelf) the game was given a more stand alone story.

Not exactly scrapped. They got 50 some full episode scripts sitting on the shelf. They were just waiting until technology caught up so they could film them at a more affordable cost. Who knows now that Disney owns Lucasfilm, but I doubt the scripts were just thrown out.

If that's how you're going to classify it then "animation" is pretty much dead everywhere. Even the 2D stuff you watch that looks more hand drawn is still all CG (computer graphics) I don't think there are any shows or movies that use tradition cel animation anywhere anymore.

In that last screenshot... is that a corn stand? Haven't played any of the other Scribblenauts games, so maybe this is a regular thing in the game that I'm ignorant to. Do they sell Cornballs? Perhaps giving you the opportunity to burn your foes to death with a Cornballer?

Yeah, but in the New 52 Captain Marvel isn't even his name anymore, he's just Shazam (as I understand it anyway, I've become a trade/hardcover waiter, so I haven't actually gotten to read that stuff yet).

He's doing both. His co-writing for the Angela stuff for Marvel will probably appear on the market first, but he's also doing a Sandman mini-series with J.H. Williams at DC/Vertigo that he's been wanting to do for a long time. It's a prequel to the original series and I guess explains how Morpheus was weak enough to

I think there's a little better chance of the Endless, only because they have appeared in the main DCU before. Gaiman is a little more protective of his main character Morpheus, so I could see him specifically not being there and just having his replacement, but I wouldn't be TOO surprised if the rest showed up.

I honestly haven't played a Scribblenauts game (but I will be getting this one!) but don't they use the touch screen pretty heavily? That would rule out the PS3 at least. Not sure why no Vita version. Maybe they have some publishing deal with Nintendo. The last Scribblenauts game was only on Nintendo stuff as well.

Condiment King!?!

Depends. Most of the Vertigo characters that aren't creator owned properties or one offs are now in the main DCU in the New 52 (and actually prior to that with the end of Brightest Day) like Swamp Thing and John Constantine.... I'm kinda curious about the Endless characters as they've appeared rarely but notably in

But who shows up when you type Shazam!? :)

80's, not 70's, I know I'm not quite THAT old. He-man wasn't around until the early 80's

Over 30 years in the industry having worked on some of the medium's all time classics, and one translation makes him the object of scorn? Sad day.

Yeah, I think they mentioned that this is what the movie will be back sometime shortly after they announced it.
