Except for one slight snag: I didn’t say that. You deliberately misinterpreted what I said to mean what you wanted it to mean.

You are misrepresenting what I said, just as you have been misrepresenting the science. Greater thermal energy is resulting in climate disruption. Locally, that may lead to unusual periods of cold. This isn’t complicated. I conclude you are trolling.
You are attempting to derail the science by misrepresenting it. When I want to understand atmospheric science I will ask an atmospheric scientist, not some uninformed nobody on the internet. For example, there are much more temperature gradients in the atmosphere than those between the pole and the equator. Are you…
I think you have a grossly oversimplistic view on the subject. I suggest you go away, educate yourself on atmospheric science, and get back to us when you are capable of engaging in the conversation.
I’ve had similar discussions. I find in most cases the reason for this viewpoint is not AS, but the way Aspies are treated in allistic society.
You accused Raskos of talking rubbish when Raskos had explained something simply enough that a schoolchild could understand it.
all over the media
Let’s not forget that “disability” is widely seen as suitable reason for terminating a foetus. The likes of Autism Speaks are looking for ways to identify autistic children in utero for a reason.
Of course not, but we are not talking about the weather today: we are talking about the global average temperature, which is increasing, measurably.
If they scientists hadn’t corrected for known errors I assume you’d have had a go at them for that, too?
Er. No, s/he’s not. S/he explained it clearly and simply enough that even you should be able to follow it, unless you are trying to deliberately obfuscate.
Please point to a reputable source blaming Hurricane Sandy on climate change without an attribution study to back it up.
I have yet to meet the Aspie who likes to see people suffer. I mean, most of us find it difficult to tell, at least on the spur of the moment. I go out of my way to try to avoid it. I get it wrong, certainly. I’m not saying it couldn’t happen - I can get outright misanthropic - but there is a dislike of humanity…
I don’t think I know exactly what you mean, but I can relate to a lot of what you write. I know all about sensory overload. Human habitats are one big sensory overload.
First, Aspies are not unempathic. This is a myth. There is a difference between not being able to read nonverbal cues and not being able to understand and respond to the mental states of others. Reading them in the field is difficult. Not understanding what they are is a separate question entirely.
Now, this is what I mean by a neurotypical being offensive and not realising it.
Yes, conform or else. Thanks for reinforcing my dim view of humans. When I’m insensitive, I get shit for it. When a human is insensitive, it’s acceptable behaviour.
Temperature differentials between poles and equator, and night and day are already changing, in line with model projections.
Two data points. Globally it’s been the warmest 6 months on record.
