The reason that we don’t have 1,000 lb cars that get 80 mpg is that we demand that cars be both crash worthy and reasonably affordable.

So...it wasn’t actually fake news? I forsee zero blowback from this change...

These look more like extreme environmentalists, rather than far left activists.

The reason why we don’t have 1,000 lb cars that get 80 MPG and are reliable for 30+ years and 600K+ miles is because consumers want shiny new toys every couple of years, and because car companies build cars with planned obsolescence in mind to keep up the demand for their products.

The irony of “environmentalists” setting a fire, likely using gasoline, to sabotage an electric car company. They just created more pollution, not just in burning the cables, but in the new emissions required to ship and install replacement cables.

They’re probably the same kind of people that would force carnivore pets to eat vegan like they do.

As opposed to what? Reverting to VW’s soot-spewing diesel cars?

To be fair, unnecessary fires aren’t great for the environment either.....

Oh so trying to improve the amount of CO2 we consume by using electric cars is now bad I guess... Not a Tesla fan as many of you know.

What’s the over-under on how many Ford F-150 Lightings Ford will sell in its first year?

Travel is a family value. We travel as much as we can afford in time and money. Our kid is in college for recreation and tourism. she had been to 16 different countries by high school graduation. The world would be a safer saner plave if we all got to know people twho were different than us. our lack of travel makes

As a dad, I think you totally should.

I think vacation is reason enough for me.

By your reasoning, Mercedes shouldn’t bother changing their design. I mean it's just one stuck nut after all.

There’s a lot of concern over this fleet vs retail argument. As someone who has purchased several new, fleet-only Ford products (and I’m def not a fleet), it isn’t hard to find a dealership willing to make a fleet of one. If you’ve got the money, they’ve got the time.

So if Weinstein were a really nice guy, completely fair and ethical, never assaulted anybody, was a really crappy business man who lost all TWC’s money, had to declare bankruptcy, then sold off the company, how would these stars be any better off? Because the way I understand it, it’s the bankruptcy that gets

“...learn a lesson about being more particular when choosing who they work with. maybe it’ll help convince those people and systems to change if they know that there are financial stakes to who they work with in addition to the ethical ones.”

Good advice but keep in mind this was written by a person who works for Jim Spanfeller.

You bring up a good point, and now I’ve spent 10 minutes I’ll never get back.

Make those little kids mining that shit work faster! We need more batteries!
