You can take all of your snark and sarcasm, and theories as to WHY it may be, but it still remains that there aren’t a lot of kids from the inner city being taken out to hunt/fish/camp/whatever. It’s a simple fact.

Drunk driving laws? The laws have not made an appreciable difference in the number drunk driving deaths. The thing that has made a difference is education. Speed limits? They’ve gone up while the accident rate has gone down. Crazy and/or stupid people don’t give a shit about laws. More laws aren’t going to change shit.

Actually, he’s probably not talking about hunting when it comes to inner-city kids. He’s likely referring to target shooting and skeet and trap shooting. Target shooting can be done indoors, and skeet and trap can be done in the space of 2 or 3 football fields.
