As for your whole CDC thing. If you/they are right, then what we need is gun law reform. But something definitely needs to happen.

“You know what also happened? Drunk driving laws. Same thing for speeding, someone ran over a family, speed limits were instituted. You know what happens after mass shootings? Nothing. No new laws of significance to really get at the root of the problem.”

You can take all of your snark and sarcasm, and theories as to WHY it may be, but it still remains that there aren’t a lot of kids from the inner city being taken out to hunt/fish/camp/whatever. It’s a simple fact.

Drunk driving laws? The laws have not made an appreciable difference in the number drunk driving deaths. The thing that has made a difference is education. Speed limits? They’ve gone up while the accident rate has gone down. Crazy and/or stupid people don’t give a shit about laws. More laws aren’t going to change shit.

There’s not enough inner city kids being taken out of the city to hunt and fish. Nothing about that is hard to understand.

I get the snark, but more kids fishing would be a good thing.  Nice, calm pastime.

I didn’t realize that North American game animals are endangered? Which Species are you referring to?

There are no “conversion kits”. There was a piece called an “auto-sear”, but the BATFE ruled that to be a machine gun, and required them to be registered and taxed (long background check, fingerprints, $$, and local Police Chief approval). Not that it matters. Criminals will find a way to convert any object from its

Actually, he’s probably not talking about hunting when it comes to inner-city kids. He’s likely referring to target shooting and skeet and trap shooting. Target shooting can be done indoors, and skeet and trap can be done in the space of 2 or 3 football fields.

You should also be concerned for the 80,000 lives which alcohol takes every year , about 2,500 of those are kids under the age of 18 yet I bet anything you will still go have that drink . If we’re going to be “ outraged” for some dead kids we should also be outraged for those kids which are ripped apart in alcohol

Deer and wild hogs are the two most commonly hunted animals. Neither are endangered, and in many places they are considered nuisance animals- especially feral hogs- that are a danger to people, animals, and the land they occupy.

Fact #1: Assault Rifle - You’re abusing this word and it’s irresponsible journalism. Did the rifle have 3 round burst capability or full auto? No? Then it’s a SPORTING RIFLE. It is designed for civilian use, not military. It might LOOK miliscary, but it’s not. He didn’t raid a military truck and steal an M-16. And,

Shooting sports can also include paper/metal target shooting, not just shooting animals.

I read this “Millennial here (1991)... Have owned 40+ cars since I was 16"

I just hope a bunch of people here don’t start using the word more frequently. I also hope the sense of confusion doesn’t aggravate some to try to start using the word- be it out of a sense of making a point (in response to this situation), or a joke.

Could you please help me with this.

Thank you to your son for his service; be proud that he’s doing so rather than this kind of tom foolery.. I hope he’s called by now.

I’m sure my great-grandfather said some unsavory things about Germans when he was hanging out in the trenches. Should I be fired today for what he said a century ago? He, or perhaps my great-great grandfather, may even have said things similar to what Bob Lamey said prior to the turn of the century, so are you going to

Guys, I have a confession. Someone in my family history probably owned slaves at some point. I am deeply sorry for this and it will never happen again. I am resigning from my job and will lay down in front of the next train I see to apologize for the fact that someone I have never met but who’s genes I partially carry
