The tea party never had anything to do with race or sexual orientation. I'll admit there are surely racists and homophobic people in the tea party, but I'm certain they exist in every political affiliation.

That's true. Both sides are pretty hardcore right now; the political climate in the US feels like a firestorm right now, and I'm not helping by calling people names. Sorry about that. I'm sure you agree that there needs to be some communication at the grassroots level.

I agree with you that people in the tea party are masters of hypocrisy and this totally destroys any credibility that person had. Every political party has people like that. The ones that bother me most are the religious crazies.

I'll admit my choice of words was inflammatory and I'm sorry for it. I do agree with you that fringe elements have taken over the tea party and their original message of freedom and following the Constitution. I just find it so frustrating that people judge a group based on the actions of a few, and this goes for many

you should learn how to have a disagreement without swearing. It makes you sound way too intense. I'm not spamming the article any more than you are, except for the fact that I'm trying to do so in a relatively calm manner.

well thanks for responding in a respectable manner instead of resorting to name calling like the other guy

yeah after rethinking it I could definitely see how seven flags could add a lot of stress. For some reason, I was imagining just one flag.

Go learn about the tea party before you parrot the stereotypes you are spoon fed. I don't follow religion, yet I support a lot of what they stand for (not all).

Nice trolling.

so he's a "fucker" because he has differing political opinions than you? Watch out, your tolerance is showing

Also this. I have never met a self professed leftist who actually knew what the Tea Party is about. They go by what they're told by the daily kos and huffpo and don't bother to do their own research. Funny for a class who prides themselves on being forward thinkers

it's a gawker site, it always does. You get sheltered leftists ("journalists" and commentators) and their idealistic ways go bonkers every time there's an article about a conservative.

your comment is dripping with smug self righteousness. What, did the tea party kick your dog or something?

what kind of crap clutch do they supply their bikes with?

this. He even said he's gonna fight the corporation. Being a gawker site, they should be all over this

no I understand, I've just always heard that but was curious if it was based in reality.

I mean I understand your argument but I'm curious, is the whole "dont drive it because it doesnt look 'professional'" argument have a basis in reality? Was someone denied a job because they drove an STI or EVO? Or is it more of a hypothetical worry?

I agree with you 100% but prepare for the wrath of gawker.

An SUV, how surprising. Probably driving too fast because they're invincible.

this. I'm 24 and a LOT of my peers smoke. They have no excuse. I've also been to Europe several times and for as progressive and green I've been told they are I swear I saw more folks smoking in the UK than here in the US. That is not a dig at Europe (I love Europe) just an observation.
