You are right about backlash and that it may not help. Who knows! But it seems to get the job done. Sadly enough. Would rather see some levelheaded responses getting the job done. :p

This was not my first RPG - that honor goes to the Quest for Glory series (which might have been more adventure game than RPG, but I digress). It was, however, the game that made me an RPG fan. I'm "tired of it" because people have no business telling someone how to create their story. If you want more of a certain type of person, write your own story.
