Good article, let's hope the trend continues but I disagree about the story in Shadow of Mordor, I thought it was fantastic and I loved every minute of it.

I heard that you can get away with 4 GBs; I think the game looks great as it is and the improvement (Based on videos and screenshots I've seen) is just not worth the extra HDD space for me. I'm sure my card can handle it, but I just don't think it's dramatic enough to warrant a game taking up 70 GBs on my HDD...

Because it ties it to the LOTR movie Universe that way. I loved the entire Gollum storyline, and I love that they are using the same art style as the movies (Finally!). It's definitely it's own thing and I love every minute of it.

I have seen that feature and it's great, in the same feature however they do also mention that the animators enhance the animation and facial features afterwards which might be a point of contention to some.

I know he was King Kong, also the cook in King Kong and he plays and gets a lot of attention and press for playing Caesar in Planet of the apes. He was also in TinTin, if I don't remember any of his live action roles is because he wasn't that memorable in them.

Overlooked by whom? Maybe in the early 2000s but after his work in Two Towers Andy Serkis is considered THE authority in motion capture performance, and no other actor is sought after more when it comes to it. He's a household name, whereas only the hardest core kaiju nerd can name you who the guy in the Godzilla

I'm not; I have a DS XL and I loved it passionately for the first 6 months I owned it but I've grown out of it. I don't want to spend another $180 for a system that will just collect dust.

I know it isn't; but my experience in the Borderlands games is indistiguishible to the one I had in Firefall or what Destiny so far looks like to me.

Yeah, I meant amuse in the non-sarcastic sense. I think both Valve and Blizzard make fantastic games and I would still love to see a Blizzard TF2; heck, I'd love to see a Blizzard anything!

What do you think "amusing" means...?

Firstly, congratulations on the scoop! You are the first game journalist to shed some light into Titan since it was announced 7 years ago!

I honestly admire Blizzard for doing this type of stuff. Cutting their losses and calling it quits rather than tarnishing the company's good name.

I'm sure everyone is asking the same question right now. Hopefully they'll pull a Warcraft Adventures and just release some stuff about it for the fun of it.

Massive Chalice looks absolutely amazing and well on track. The team streams and development videos alone have been worth the price of admission (Same thing with Broken Age).

Sure but doing that makes you miss out on A LOT of stuff.

Same here; unfortunately they are expensive as hell. Some day, years from now, when this is no longer a thing I will get the whole collection.

Yeah, I see your point. It's not so much the bad actors but the writing that is bad.

The insinuation was directed at the people that gave Schafer shit about it, not Yanick in particular; I don't know if he was part of that crowd or not :)

Yes when it comes to engine and graphics, but that's not true in the case of voice talent at all. Voice talent for video games is much more expensive now than it was in the 90s and indies have to stick with amateur actors.

I did just the crystal boxes and it still felt unnecessary to make me do the same thing 5 times...
