It would actually work really well had the entire dialogue been done in the third person by a narrator with the boss just staring blankly in the background. Like a Nat Geo. guy.

The way it's laid it comes off as:
I love comedy, I don't like mediocrity.
Dumb. His diatribe proves that he/she is not stupid so the premise invalidates the "punch line"
Actually as much as I hate Ubisoft lately I have to admit they've been making pretty cool non-AAA games like child of light, might & magic X and that one about WWI with the comic book graphics.
Ha! Gotta love that Lois and Clark font!
Title should be "This is how good we were told Watch_Dogs would look."
It may seem superficial, but the new character models is the number 1 feature of Warlords I'm looking forward to and the reason I'm getting back into WoW for a month or two...
There's so much to do in that game it's ridiculous. I beat it after 80+ hours and I still have yet to explore an entire section of the map.
You are not the only one; I think he has the potential to be the best Batman AND Bruce Wayne yet.
Yeah, plus V picked up a lot of good things from Rev to streamline the gameplay and make it more fun.
Hell yeah! I'm all in for this! I played the first one on Xbox and loved it! Great intro to civ for beginners. I ended up lending it to a bunch of friends and they all became fans of the series. We now love Civ V because of it :)
Because he can, and in the process he's become Internet famous :)
This deserves space on the Kotaku front page, yet an awesome indie game like Deadrock Divide and its inexplicably struggling Kickstarter campaign has been completely ignored for a whole month.
Not after the 0.7 update to the mod; the DOF is now fantastic and only noticeable on stuff that is far, far in the distance. It has zero impact on gameplay, but it does make the world look a lot better by giving it tons more depth.
Except in the 0.7 version of the mod the DOF is no longer an issue if using the "Normal" and "Far" cameras so even that point is moot :)
I disagree about different audiences. I backed Pillars and I can't wait to play it but I'm also a Dragon Age fan and while I disliked part 2 I am super pumped for Inquisition. If I had to choose between them I choose Inquisition first; then I'll play Pillars after I'm done with it. I doubt many more people while go…
Indeed; if they do that I'll ask for a refund. I won't get it, but at least I'll ask for one for the record, and it will surely be the last Ubisoft game I pre-order.
Definitely a step in the right direction. Gamers have been telling big developers and publishers this for years but it fell in deaf ears. I guess now that it's been an obviously successful model for established companies like Double Fine or newcomers like Star Citizen and all the other Kickstarters they are starting…
I just tested it myself, the distance blur is awesome but I feel they have the threshold set too close; it gives the world a fantastic sense of depth though!
