Ok, but if masks are now so life and death why was Faucci himself laughing off the idea two months ago?  Like everyone likes to go “duh science”, but was there actually a whole lot of mask science done in the last two months?

I think general consensus is that everyone in this show is terrible except for Marshall

I feel the same way about masks as I do about vaccinations. Don’t want to wear a mask? Then don’t. Don’t want to get vaccinated? Then don’t. You’re the one that’s going to get sick, not me.

People are arguing over masks because for four months, we’ve been receiving conflicting information about them from the CDC, the media, and you.

People who call a pizza “a pie” are 1,000 times more precious than any hothouse orchid.

I’ve got quite a few years of pizza eating under my belt (literally), almost all of which being of the tomato sauce variety, and while I’ve encountered many literally dripping with grease, I’ve never run into one dripping with “juice”.

I certainly did, Tom, and can you show me where it say something along the lines of “buyers that engage in immoral activities are due whatever comes their way from the banks they’re trying to screw”? Because that’s what this is, Tom. It’s the consumer trying to screw over the bank. Edit: Which, by the way, also did

Does no one here fault the morality of the buyer?!? Jesus H - its like Tom is completely absolving the buyer of any fault, here. Nobody held a gun to the buyer’s head and said “sign here”. This speaks more to the “I deserve a new car” mentality of people than it does to the sales tactics of a car dealer. Dealers are

How do consumers think that telling the bank “sorry I don’t want to pay for this car anymore you can have it back” will play out for them? Do the dealers tell them that the bank will cheerily smile and say “no biggie, don’t worry about that money you borrowed.” Even if they didn’t understand the concept of a money

Really? I don’t understand this.

Umm that doesn’t happen unless you’re super dumb. Not everyone struggles with tech. Disposable paper isn’t a better option.

The probability of something going wrong with a digital boarding pass is about the same as the probability of dropping your boarding pass. Especially if your airline allows you to store the boarding pass in the Wallet (or whatever the Android equivalent is).

I actually like doing V Ups and think they’re a great core exercise, but burpees can die in a fucking fire.

This is a hell of a lot more appetizing without the photo of the finished dish.

Wait another 28 days...

$10/day per person for tips? Have you been talking to the Salty Waitress?

You could steal a North African wildcat kitten,” he says, “and it’d make a pretty decent cat.”

If the concept of Voyager really appeals to you… go watch Battlestar Galactica. Seriously, Ron Moore was actively doing things they weren't allowed do on Voyager, like letting people's choices have consequences in the next episode.

"Parallels" has some good stuff to it. I liked how Worf ends up in a universe where Picard died fighting the Borg so Riker is the captain of the Enterprise. So when Riker sees the Prime Picard, he lets out a heartfelt "good to see you again, Captain."

Is the distinction really so black and white ? Doctors love to de-mythify stuff to extremes if it doesn't involve taking prescription drugs. For example, I sometime take this digestive pill that promises to "cleanse" my stomach (by elimination you know). And boy does it work. I mean I have never felt lighter or more
