So he replaced all the bushings and some engine wear parts. On a 150k mile car. Show me a mustang or a Miata that doesn’t need similar and I’ll be shocked. Also nothing on that list would yield the eye-watering bill you’d expect if you went to a reasonable indy.
Have done this “mod”. 20m and its night and day different. Much easier to launch and feel your way around gear changes. Best mod for the money ($0).
LOL! Whoa, sir! I draw the line at disk brakes. #2002tiiforLife
I don’t understand the need for LED headlights. I can’t remember the last time one of my halogens burnt out let alone requiring a full machinist’s tool kit to replace it. Some things are pretty OK as-is in my book.
Didn’t Ford license their hybrid system from Toyota for the Escape Hybrid?
All new drivers should be in a 2CV. Bike would’ve been fine. Guy on bike wouldve been fine. Asshat in car probably would’ve stalled out in reverse and learned a valuable lesson about driving.
That video is surreal. I’m a child of the 80s and this brings back some uncomfortable cold-war memories of news stories
“Let OFF [gently] Let OFF [gently]” And don’t hit the brake.

I really don’t understand how such a simple task can be so difficult to people. If you can’t parallel park even sloppily, you have no business on the road. It shows lack of car control like has been mentioned on this thread repeatedly.
You’re forgetting that sweet sweet FOM money for being in the top 10 as well as the payout for winning the constructor’s championship.
The dumb bunnies I had to deal with as a tire tech were enough to give me early onset hypertension.
3rd world fingers. That’s all I have to say.
Patrick, this can all be fixed with flowers, chocolate, and a card that says (in bold) “it’s all my fault”. Address it to their head of PR and maybe throw in a nice bottle of wine for their marketing directory.
Supply vs demand. There more of these 5.0s in rental fleets alone than there are 911s or m3s (in total) for a given model year. It may have been a great car and some people clearly love them, but there will always be more mustangs in this trim than there will be demand.
After 14 years, you believe your mustang will really be worth more than 20k? Unless Caroll Shelby himself left a DNA-verifiable snot rocket on your dash, I'm thinking this is impossible.
Ah, I see you’ve snapped a transbolt in the bellhousing too! Brother!
Does that really work? I suck at welding and can totally see the weld cracking clean off as if nothing happened.
