This is the most fangerous time of the year: Star Wars spoilers season. Which is weird, at least to me, because I’ve been chasing clip after clip of MCU S1E23 and voraciously going to r/marvelstudios, but I unsubbed from r/StarWars in a bid to never even see the trailer. I’m actively screaming at every Star

Jacob’s Ladder on the Kanopy streaming service from the library. No wonder I had waited so long to watch it again. Disturbing. I watched The Serpent and the Rainbow again a couple of months ago and I would put it in the same category.

My movie nights will be all Basil Nosebone Sherlock Holmes for awhile. I picked up where I left off a year or so ago, with Sherlock Holmes in Washington, which was a lot better than I expected! I thought it would be one of those boring 40s movies intended mostly to sell war bonds, but it was actually pretty exciting.

Josh Gad AND corporate cross-promotion!? Sign me up!

They discover oil and suddenly 3rd Marine Division appears to spread some democracy and freedom.

Have you met Therm Scissorpunch?

I don’t know. I feel that Gunther as Hawkeye is a no-brainer.

Usually, I hate fan theories. All of the recent The Last Jedi ones made me want to puke (i.e., Snoke is still alive). However, I absolutely love this theory, think it is plausible, and also think it is far better and more in line with what we previously knew about the character than what was presented when he allowed

Look, it’s Enrico Pallazzo...ranting about trailers!

1) “The Rise of Skywalker” is such a clumsy subtitle.

Guess I’ll echo everyone else’s thoughts about the weird Sansa/Arya conflict. It makes sense they’d be at odds, at least initially, but the last-minute reveal that they were teamed up against Baelish was so outta left field it almost didn’t work. They needed some set up there was a resolution rather than just have so

“Cersei’s promises earlier in the episode turn out to be false”

Seeing Jamie ride off alone completed his transformation. Jame is now a “Good Guy”. Not the antagonist, not the former antagonist getting what he deserves. Not the guy who hangs out with the bad guys thats actually pretty OK and we kinda root for. Full blown Good Guy.

Jaime/Bran reverse shot. Haven't heard many people catch that.

Yeah, it always bugged me that Jaime swam to safety in heavy armor (after sinking like a rock when he fell in), but no biggee.

It’s an amazing scene in and of itself. But it’s also the ultimate in consequence-free fantasy porn.

The sigil of House Seger is an off-white Chevy Silverado on an ice-white field.  Their words are, “Like a Rock.”

Now playing

I feel like an opportunity was missed here.
