FP gives Jughead a vintage Underwood 21 typewriter?

The typewriter was a gift from Betty, not FP

loved the Black Hood crawling over the couch Bob style in Betty’s dream

As a science teacher, that sentence hurt my soul. I’m going to assume it was a typo so I can sleep at night.

She’s 50% her mom, not 15%. I’m pretty sure you get half your DNA from each parent.

“Anytime someone steps up and says who they are, the world becomes a better and more interesting place so.. thank you.” Holt’s game night pep talk (and that hug) is also my tear trigger. We do not deserve someone as gifted at both comedy AND drama as Andre Braugher on our TV screens. We just don’t.

SPOONMAN!!!

My favorite podcast of the year: Who Weekly/My Favorite Murder

No love for Off Book? That’s my vote for best new show of 2017. That podcast quickly became my favorite, it’s so consistently funny and inventive. And really easy to re listen to!

Even Kate McKinnon, the ensemble’s best, seemed somewhat unprepared.

I preferred Saoirse Ronan’s non-stop professionalism to Franco’s quasi-breaking every sketch laziness yes

I mean, I think the point of that sketch was for the first part of it to not actually be funny. It’s a guy we don’t know, being a dick to his classmates. I don’t think a better comedic actor would have helped, considering it was all set up for the actual joke that was that it was his first day and he didn’t actually

R.I.P. ASS LUKE

That was mostly a waste of time. The Welcome To Hell song was good, and the Irish thing at the end made me laugh a lot, especially the part about the dog with the soul of Oscar Wilde. Also, I’m enjoying imagining what it was like when Saoirse Ronan taught everyone to sound Irish.

I really enjoyed the episode and I think something that made Ronan a really good host was that she didn’t seem to want to go out there to prove how funny she is. I often feel that when dramatic actors host SNL, they really want to show off of their comedic chops and try to become the center of the joke even when they

Whiny unfunny comments lamenting/mocking ‘PC culture’? Something tells me you already fit in just fine at the Kinja-era AVClub.

Why are you posting all this in what is supposed to be an individual episode thread?

This is the first outright negative review I’ve seen for this movie, and it kind of reads as though the reviewer is just holding a grudge against James Franco. So ... I’m still gonna go see it.

at least we will get a new U Talkin U2 To Me? out of this
