They were the floor liners. They’re always bent out of shape, leaving huge gaps. Perhaps it’s just the VWs? I haven’t seen them in any other cars.

I disagree to an extent. Why would a manufacturer offer a longer warranty if they knew their product would have major issues before the warranty ended? They’re not going to want to pay out for warranty work, so they’ll try to make the product more reliable.

If it is anything like doing a HICAS delete on an S13 you remove all the hardware and get what I believe is called a HICAS delete bar.

I don't understand how you can have such terrible luck. I'm not a VW guy at all, but I work at a VW dealer and most cars do not have such horrible issues.
