They don’t own the IP but they seem to be one of the few publishers willing to invest in it. The first one got good reviews and a cult following but didn’t sell very well and no one wanted to invest in a sequel.

While some might think it sucks that the franchise is only on Nintendo consoles now, what most of them fail

Well that’s one game to Skip.

I think they are both enjoyable

Darksiders, Yeah. The story is related to the first one so you might miss some details and context but it’s not a direct sequel and it’s stand alone enough that it’s still enjoyable evening if you didn’t play the first one.

Wow. Glad I didn’t look more into it then. A real shame but in the end a reminder that talented people can be creeps / assholes too.

The big purchase was a Galaxy S8. I needed a phone and for $500 it seemed to offer good value and features. Feels like a good upgrade from my S6.

I’m not american nor have I ever lived in america.
But if american ISP’s are anything like the ones in my country it’s not as much “If I go outside a meteorite could hit me” as it is “If I punch my boss in the face I COULD get fired, doesn’t mean I will”

If I was EA I’d just bring them back early next year alongside some good news.

It’s really a shame. Specially when it (IMO) ruins works that would otherwise be great. There was recently this show called “Made in Abyss” (which was also recommended on this site) which had a lot of great things going for it. Interesting story, great art, great animation and music. But I couldn’t bring myself to

Come on people. Don’t be fooled by this.

To me, the Witcher 3 is a perfect example of how story and context can be just as important as Gameplay or graphics in a game.
In many ways I think the Witcher 3 is a standard open world game. With repetitive content and exploration based around following a GPS on your minimap.

But waht makes its content way more

But it’s freaking Darth Vader and Luke and Leia we are talking about. Easily some of the most iconic characters of the franchise ( and movie history) .

So what drives people to work in this industry ?. I understand the appeal of working in a field that you like and feel passionate about. But once you reach the point where you are making considerably less than someone working in MCdonalds it just doesn’t seem worth it anymore .

The kid in the God of War trailer just seems...off.
I like the idea of having him in the game and the idea of Kratos gaining a father and tutor role.
But the kids dialog and how he says things just doesn’t fit with the rest of the world. Kratos and the environment have this “mature” dark fantasy look and and sound to

    For the most part. Yeah.
I think another part are people that never visited the site and just read somewhere about some Neogaf Users doing something (“Neogaf Users

As someone mentioned, laptop can be an issue. Or people that just want to use SSD (those aren’t so cheap).

With this it’s probably going to be like 130 gb on PC....yay?

    Rip GAF.
While what Evilore did is inexcusable, the site was more than just its founder (who in a few years as a somewhat active user I hardly saw posting at all). I had plenty of good discussions and went through a lot of fun threads over the years.

I’ve seen people say the community was bad or toxic but that was

Where is my fucking HDR support DICE?

If you aren’t even inside the store there really isn’t much an employee can do to you.
What we would have to do though is report it to our superiors and then it’s up to them. I guess they would call the police though I’m not sure if they would have any legal grounds to take you away
