See, if your new “Supreme Hamburger” clearly has bacon in the ad, and then I go buy it and it doesn’t have bacon, I will be dissapointed even if “it still very big and has a lot of ingredients”.
If I buy a 4gb GPU and it turns out it’s only giving me 3.5gb I will be dissapointed even if “it’s still giving me good

    This.

For a game that’s all about freedom I was really dissapointing by the large amounts of handholding and scripted events during missions

I wouldn’t trust the opinion of anyone who calls any game perfect.
Perfect implies there is NOTHING about the game, no matter how small, that couldn’t be better. It implies that every other game from now forward can only aspire to be “as good” as this game but not better.

    And, IMO, that doesn’t exist.

    Quick question:
Do I need to have The Dark Below for House of Wolves to work?

I’ve no interest in the first DLC but this one sounds pretty good

And then 2 years and countless trailers later what are they using to promote the game on the PSN store? The old “sword of destiny trailer” filled with bullshit “gameplay footage”.

It’s marketing 101: “Make your product look better than it is”. It’s literally the videogame equivalent of:

I know it’s now their “thing” to set the franchise apart. But I’d like to see a new Need for Speed more focused on the racing than the cops.

I enjoy these more arcade style racers but I wish they were more about getting new cars and upgrading them and rising through the ranks, taking on leaders in “boss battle races”,

Oh I don’t take pre-release footage with a “tablespoon of salt”, I take it with a barrel full of salt.
I used to think that the “Work in progress” sign in many pre release videos ment “the game might present issues because it’s not yet finished”. Now I just see it as “Everything we are showing you is either going to be

Well yeah, it’s about budget, time and workforce.
They probably didn’t have the time, money or people to make 2 different versions. Specially considering that graphical level shown in the trailers would only work on very high end machines (so only a fraction of their PC audience).
It’s probably just not worth it to make

Being upset about this and disliking the game are 2 different things.
I think people should buy and enjoy the game because it is a great game but I tottaly support the outrage about this downgrade.

If enough people complain (and they have, resulting in the downgrade appearing on popular sites like Kotaku and Eurogamer)

Here is in another example of Pre release vs final version
But yeah, the game does still look really nice and, more importantly, comments from both reviewers and non Angry fans seem to indicate it’s a great game.

But I can see were upset people are coming from. And it’s a bit of a shame to see that CDPR is also using BS

    Well, yeah.
I mean, personally I don’t really care as I’m not much of a Witcher fan (I just never liked the combat in 2) so I was never planning on picking this up at launch.

But it did get a notorious downgrade from early showings

Probably the notorious graphical downgrade this game got.

Hey! At least the author cared enough to actually make the hero train to become stronger.
There are tons of shonen anime that just skip that part and give the hero insta power ups “Because friendship”

Just wait for the next Metal Gear after V.

“Wait, Snake, you have run out of boxes so you can’t sneak past these enemies. We are sending you a drone with 5 extra boxes but it will take 6 hours to get to your location, you’ll have to come back later.
Remember that for only $0.99 we could use these next generation drones

I know laws differ from country to country but I never really understood why unpaid overtime are accepted in some lines of work and illegal in others.

When I used to work in retail, dates like Christmas were allways filled with overtime. My regular 45 hours work week generally went up to like 65 hours in december. But

You know...the actual food on those pictures doesn’t look very good

Well the manga does have pretty bad drawings,
It’s actually one of the few mangas I’ve ever read where I feel like the quality of the drawings got worse over time. Generally it’s the other way around, specially with new authors, you can really see how they polish their style over time.

This guy went from ok to “meh,

I played LOL almost daily for a year (and then another 5-6 months less frequently) without ever spending real money and while the game has several elements that in the end bored me and made me stop playing, the currency wasn’t one of them.

I actually found the unlocking system sort of fun. It’s like I allways had a

I think it was ok and pretty much in line with the first one. Nothing spectacular but some cool action and decent laughts, plus pretty CGI.

The two problems it has IMO:

Well one can only hope that this will be the AC to finally bring some much needed evolution for the gameplay.

But who are we kidding. It’s going to be same old AC, including next gen rushing which includes bugs and sub 30fps performance on consoles
