Some people enjoy some mindless over the top fun every now and then.
And when it's with characters they know and love it's even better.

Personally I think they are enjoyable as long as I don't play them all that often. They are specially fun when playing with a friend

Quite honestly I think they should at least have a free game to try out the service.
Offer some old first part game (Say, Killzone 2) for a short period of time (like an hour or 30 minutes) so people can actually try the damn thing before spending money

Well... some people like that. If we go by generalizations then modern shooters consist of camping the whole game and "unlocking" 9999 weapons out of which 2-3 are considered to be "the best" an everyone uses them.

Plus I see workarounds. Take Halo for example (which is like a mid point between oldschool shooters and

Except there are is a big number of people that don't like those features and wish we had more "oldschool" shooters.

Are they the majority? Probably not. But it's still a relatively big group and this game is trying to appeal to them.

Not every games has to be designed to appeal to everyone

31 people said Square and 5 even said EA.
But not even one vote for Platinum?

    Really?

But do they really have to use PsNow for that?

I don't live in the US and my internet is not so great. While I haven't yet tried PSNOW I'm sure I won't be getting a 1:1 experience anytime soon (considering people living in the US and havig the same internet speed as me say they have issues).

    Can't we just get standard

I think what he said is that he picked up the film because of nostalgia... you know... of the ninja turtles, not the movie itself.

Or mabye they just posted a few and saw that they get a decent amount of clicks.

Oh, but god forbid someones enjoys something you don't.

Ok I'm not a "graphics whore" and I'm happy to see that they have done a great job in making the last gen version run an look really nice. I think it's great that people that can't or don't want to invest in a new console can enjoy this game

But what's up with all the "hardly any difference" and "can't tell the

    Crysis 3, Battlfield 4, The Witcher 2
Those are 3 of the most demanding and best looking PC games out there. Those 3 running on ultra on PC look so much better than any Ps3/360 games that it's not even funny...... yet all 3 of them are on last gen consoles.

This idea that just because a game is on ps3/360 you can't

    ummm.

I can get what you are trying to say. But there is massive difference between blu ray and dvd.

After blu ray and HD movies in general it's hard going back to DVD quality movies, specially on HDTV's

Awesome game. I really need to replay it one of these days
The "cons" didn't surprise me, on a technical level this franchise is a mess. The only thing as far as presentation goes that is truly great are the facial animations....un cutscenes

In their role as publishers, specially for an exclusive title, Microsoft probably asumed most of the cost of developing Ryse.

If Crytek is in bad shape it's because of bad management and probably because most of their games look really expensive to make and have failed to turn into megasellers

Some of the reactions to this video .....
They are kids, most of us were probably no different. When I was 8 and had a Ps1 if you showed me a pong machine or an Atari 2600 I probably wouldn't have been blown away either .

Only kid that truly bothered me was the "I'd throw it in the trash and play with my Ipad". He

Because the majority of people that purchased or plan to purchase a Ps4 (or a X1 at that) do so in order to play videogames in general.

The message the PR team of both Microsoft and Sony want to give to the public is that "our console is the best place to play videogames" and not "our console is the best place to

Recently picked up Donkey Kong Tropical freeze so probably a lot of that.

I also recently finished Wonderful 101 and was feeling like more of Hideki Kamiya/old capcom stuff. Then I realized it has been over 10 years since I played the original DMC and probably 7 or so since I played DMC 3. So I decided to pick up the

    Well for me it is.

Is it perfect? Not at all. The camera sucks, the game does a terrible job at explaining some mechanics, some of the areas that try to change up the gameplay are rather "hit and miss" and some levels have weird pacing (they should end with the boss battle but for some reason go on and on and on).

    But I

Game of the year: The Wonderful 101

    This.

I have no issue at all with gay characters in videogames but I hate it when being gay is their "character trait".

I've seen it too many times:
    - One is the brave character with a rebel spirit.
    - One is the hot blodded guy who allways want to go in guns blazing
    - One is the jokster that has a dark past he tries to

I think half of the love from this game is that back and it day (and somewhat still today) it was the only way of seeing the world of pokemon represented in a fully 3D world.

I mean, you have pokemon X/Y now but you still get to a separate battle. In pokemon snap you were moving through this 3d World and all the
