Ok so Sony lied, just like every other big company ever (including MS)
    SO?.
What exactly do you want people to do?

When MS lies those new reports get filled with Sony Fanboys. When Sony lies it gets filled with MS fanbous. What exactly has changed?

PS: Gaf had a 38 pages thread about this. How the hell is that "ignoring".

    I find them funny.

From what I've seen half the people that deslike the channel are just buthurt fanboys that can't take a joke and are angry because "they said bad things about this movie I like"

Yes I know it will be great.

I'm just saying I don't get hyped about a CGI trailer.

If you tell me "next gen batman game" I want to see how the graphics look, how big the city is, what new gameplay mechanics they are going to use, what they are making that they couldn't make with last gen consoles, etc.

    Not a CG trailer

    Agree on Journey and Portal.

Specially Journey. It looks great, it's super easy to control and you can't loose.
My mom, who doesn't fully understand how to use Gmail yet, managed to finish it

Ok so I'm just going to ask this here.

Am I the only one who can't go fullscreen anymore in youtube?

    Now playing

    Because I don't get hyped.

For me CG trailers are fun to watch but do absolutely nothing to get me hyped or make me want to buy the games. Everytime I read a headline like "watch the new trailer of X game" and it turns out to be some CG crap I'm honestly dissapointed.

Again, for me it's the equivalent of a checking out

    I can understand it too.
It starts from the fact that even the shittiest of games can look incredibly awesome with a Cool CGI trailer and they do help increase the hype.

It's just that I personally hate them just as I hate when big games are announced 2 years prior to release. Personally my hype levels go down with

    IMO they suck.

I think developers should wait until they have enough in game content to show. Yes they are cool to watch but they show nothing of the actual game. Look at stuff like Dead Island or AC3, game with awesome CGI trailers that ended up being mediocre.

2014, a next gen of consoles and PC's with powerfull hardware..... and we are still using CG trailers?.

Anyway, hopefully it's great. But after City and Origins I hope this is more than just "more of the same with nicer graphics".

Origins got a lot of hate but honestly it wasn't that bad.

Was about to write something like this when I saw your post.
I have to say I fully agree.

It's not that I can't enjoy the retro style graphics but we have come to a point where it seems like 4 out of every 5 indie games are using it and I'm honestly tired of it

I'm not asking indies to have AAA photorealistic graphics

Oh yeah poor things. Better not insult them or you could hurt their feelings.

We shouldn't go saying bad things about these poor guys

I think most developer stay in the confort zone and I don't think most games are mediocre.

I don't think he is saying that you need to be what you write. I think he is saying some devs just feel more confortable or simply preffer it that way

It get's no love beacuse it was linear as hell and the gameplay was dull. I don't even get how you can compare it to prince of persia, while those had some great 3D platforming Remember me is pres the analog stick towards the giant arrow pointing you where to go.

OMG I've seen this movie quite a few times and I honestly can't belive I've never notices that part

    Agreed.
He was obessed with the case, so far as to basically get fired.
He has probably been investigating on his own for all these years which makes him look like he did it.

    I don't know.
I liked Skyrim but I'm not sure it's the same as the original vision this guy had for Fable.
I allways felt the whole idea of Molyneux was for the player to "shape the world" with his actions. And while that isn't true for Fable it's also not true for Skyrim.

Personally my problem with fable is that the

It's not and you can import it. And with a decent guide you can probably finish it.

But honestly, this franchise in general is heavy on text and dialog. And by playing it with just a basic understanding of what is going on you are missing half the experience.
