Again, no one has said that 30 fps on a X1 exclusive is bad. But when it's the SAME game that is running BETTER on a CHEAPER console is when we have a problem.

No one gets insane about a game being 30 fps or 60 fps.

What people care about is when THE SAME game runs TWICE as good on the CHEAPER console

You see, PC elitists expect a $400 console to give the same performance as a PC with a $400 GPU.

They struggle to get that a big reason for the sucess of the Ps4 is that it's $400 and not $800

I don't think you get it.
Let's ignore fanboys for a moment and just talk about regular people talking about videogames.

The controversy around the 30 fps on X1 are not because 30 fps are bad. Hell, a lot of games have already been confirmed to be 30 fps on both ps4 and X1 (Assassins Creed Black Flag, Watch Dogs, The

Wait... this was the hyped trailer?
    That was terrible!

I mean, Ok the concept is nice and all but everyone is dying to get a good look at the gameplay..... not another "cinematic" trailer

They are trying to do that. But I'm not sure if it will be effective.
Ever since Halo 3 the franchise has been exclusive to the 360, it is the only system where you can play the newer Halos.

Titanfall on the other hand is also on PC, and it's probably going to sell A LOT more on PC (much higher install base, considering

Microsoft paid for titanfall 1 to be exclusive.

But the IP is owned by respawn and EA is the publisher. The game game director has already said that they plan to release Ps4 games "just not the first titanfall".

So there is a very good chance that the inevitable sequel to Titanfall will be on Ps4, specially if it keeps

Hey, Kojima is selling 2 hours for $40 on Ps3

A lot of people simply enjoy watching stuff in their original lenguage.

If I watch a russian movie I like to watch it in russian with subs, If I see a Hollywood movie I watch it in english, if I see an anime I like to watch it in japanese with subs.

Also, japanese voice actors tend to put a lot of effort into their

I recommend you look at the images on the link provided in the first reply (open them on a new tab to easily compare them), they look sort of compressed here on Kotaku.

Anyway, the differences between cross gen games are never going to be mindblowing. Just as with most PC games you can't really push the hardware that

    The GTA of JRPG's?

You mean modern day setting, story about criminals, open world structure, tons of extra stuff to do like in GTA? Yet also over the top "japanese style" storytelling, leveling system, unlockable skills, sidequests, item stores and bosses like in a JRPG?

Oh, so we are talking about Yakuza then.
    Yeah,

I haven't played 1 and 2. I've only played 3 and 4 (the ones of Ps3) and honestly, they do feel a bit like a Jrpg GTA.

2014 isn't looking very promising for the 3Ds (at least for me), which is a shame considering how awesome 2013 was (my 3DS was probably my most used gaming system this last year).

I'm not saying that there aren't any good games comming... it's just that nothing is looking that exciting. I mean, Bravely Default just

    Still looks awesome.

Although as with many Action Jrpg's I wish there was an option to tell everyone to shut up. The spam of people shouting attack names gets annoying

    Still looks awesome.

This and X will probably make me buy a WiiU sooner or later

Did I see an insta KO there?

    Isn't that sort of... OP?

As far as I know it's going to be a port of the full game.

Yakuza games are awesome but don't really push the graphics that much (they have some good facial animations during cutscenes but everything else is "meh") so it shouldn't be hard to port over to Vita

    I think it does.

I mean, as someone said above, if you make your own cosplay for yourself or a friend there is no problem.

But if you start selling them there might be a problem

Really? I have never noticed much difference.

I mean it tends to take a few more years between a japanese game and its sequel because unlike say, COD or Assassins Creed, they don't feel the need to release a sequel every year. They obviously didn't start work on the new smash right after releasing Brawl. If I'm not

    Looks fun.

I like the concept and the art seems to be solid.
    Will check it out
