Just because this will be shot with IMAX cameras does not mean it will be for IMAX theaters. Go watch "Batman Begins," some of the scenes were shot with an IMAX camera, but most were not. I have an older Samsund DLP 720p 46" tv, and there is a huge difference between the IMAX shots and the regular ones. First, IMAX

@pouncep: Voice mail. I didn't like the Skype voice mail and I never knew which phone's voice mail it would end up in. Google Voice and android rock. Also, to have a local Google number is free. I believe you had to pay for a local Skype number (not much, but still).

I am one of the 6%. My wife is from europe and she uses skype for everything. Text chat, video calls, unlimited plan to Slovakia, Skype-in. We used to use a skype number as a home number (sort of, just rang both cell phones), but switched that to google voice - it is easier.

@GMM: Does no one remember this version of the "Hope" poster from when he was campaigning?

@mrisinger: Not sitting on a wooden bench. They are poorly photoshopped onto a photo of a wooden bench. Imagine how bad they looked with the original background.

Seems like this could be put to better use. Like in allowing paralyzed people to use a computer. That said...

Please add this to smart phones. I want my phone to be charging while i'm walking around. I have a watch that does this, and it is always fully wound w/o and extra shaking. On a phone it would be great even if it just help extend the battery life.

We need a gizmodo writer to do this and tell me which gives the best directions, is easiest to use, and or other information comparing them, like which too the longest to fall of the windshield.

@webdevmike: I've though this many times. How come Google, a company known mainly for its search engine, has such a crappy search feature in the Android market. At the very least it should suggest spelling if you mistype a word instead of just saying no results.

@aj.2096: I've been checking all day... This was the first shooting challenge I entered.

@junkmail: If it's anything like sprint and HTC's update for the hero, "soon" could mean months.

Imagine what they do when they move it in and out of the warehouses and trucks!

I enjoy SOME of these iPhone articles. I just don't want to see anymore updates to the yellow screen, and phones that have been dropped from any height, and I don't need to see an article on EVERY new iPhone app. Though for apps a weekly best of iPhone and best of Android apps article would be nice.

@senshikaze: Yes, I know... Shouldn't complain about trying unreleased software and it not meeting expectations. The screen shots above do show a huge improvement.

For a picture taken with an iPhone that really doesn't live up to the photo quality expectations that apple made me believe.

@FriedPeeps: I have a dell netbook - and only use it for a few things. If Chrome really boots up fast, is reliable with connecting to WiFi (unlike my experience with Linux -WiFi support is abysmal), and can store pictures/videos, can use Skype then I would use it. I use it for web, travelling, and Skype phone and

I was going to say something about how this app is for choosing the best channel to set your router up to use, but it seems from the comments that most people know that.
