What on earth was the person doing to get that laptop that hot. That's nuts. Shouldn't they have stopped when the keyboard became painful to touch?!?

@MacAttack: Swype doesn't really make typos. I have it on my HTC hero. Either it know what word you are trying to do and puts it correctly, or you get a list or the wrong word. Swype is better than other sliding keyboards in my experience because if you miss a letter in a word or even make spelling mistakes it is

10/100/1000 Ethernet has been around for awhile now. My old fat PS3 has it. You can buy a gigabit Ethernet switch for less that $20 now, like the one in the picture. A PCI board is about $10. So I can use my existing wires and be faster than the "enhanced version" in the article. Would it work better with my

This is pretty good, but the answer to the obvious question is missing - HOW?!?

@AlienSix: My thoughts exactly. A lot of the other comments are about the fact the camera is on the back, but that is fine for 3d porn.

The Xten chair looks nice, but the price is far from shocking. I work in a 24 hr dispatch center and all the chairs are in the $1000 - $1700 range. You'd be surprised how cheap a $1000 chair can feel. And how having people getting in and out of a 24 hour chair can destroy it.

Sounds good, but what they need to add is BlueRay support.

@James: My bill doesn't vary. The tech support people sometimes make you try REALLY basic things, you get much better tech support at the store (or in forums!). I had nextel before they joined, and now have regular sprint. I don't see them being broken.

@mrgibblechip: I think all those cement it - nothing is accidental here.

I have one of these Keurig machines at home and one at work. These have been a life changer. No more pots to wash, no waiting for coffee, no variations in taste from store to store. Great fresh coffee in a few seconds.

$50? Easier and more tangible to wipe it down. Now if it UV sanitized and charged it might be worth it.

@Platypus Man: I agree. I couldn't believe how good it sounded. I was most impressed with the sound it made when the coins come out of the boxes.

Seems like he may have recorded playing the levels before hand, then practiced them with the recording. I don't think he is doing it live with a real player.

I understand why HTC wouldn't want their stuff ported to other companies phones, but I would guess this is only a small chunk of the people that are using those phones. How many Droid users installed a Sense UI ROM? I bet less that 500.

@Graham J: That is cool, thanks for pointing it out. For realism "fisheye" seems the most accurate, with less mind bending stretching than the others.

I just got the invite to the beta program yesterday, but have been using a leak for a couple months. Swype is awesome. The other knockoff sliding keyboards in the market do not work nearly as well, and the newest beta is much improved from the leak I had. If you have an android go sign up for the beta. They are

@secgeek: Same at my work... IE6 freezes for a bit while loading most pages now. Many sites tell me to upgrade to a modern browser...

@EvilJ: Resurrected: I think it would be worth it, but haven't put too much thought in it. I am just responding to the article's author about why someone might need that much space. Several of my friends have had similar issues with space.

@EvilJ: Resurrected: Every so often I have to spend a while going through and deleting them.
