I think some people  just enjoy being needlessly pedantic.

No, but it’s been at least 500 years so a pretty fucking long time.

It’s not about feeling generous or not. It’s about what works and what doesn’t. Why fight an uphill battle that won’t get you any results, to make a point, rather than an easier solution that does get results? Ultimately, I don’t care why people do something, I care that they do it.

I agree but I also think every relationship is different. Some men would respond better to being told daddies are sexy, others would respond more if you asked their best friend. Ultimately you know your partner the best.

It’s right there in the article:

Yeah, seriously. It’s not rocket science: people care more about something if they feel involved. And that applies to men and women, although some people seem to expect everyone to be perfectly altruistic and caring even about issues that don’t touch them at all. And while that would be great, it’s unrealistic as

Wait, so now you’re stanning for Harris and Warren when this site has been nothing but critical and dismissive of any candidate that isn’t Bernie?

You know just as many people would be bitching if he paid someone to do his daughter’s hair. People suck.

I will never understand why there are still supervisors that operate this way. It’s not even about being a decent human being instead of an anal retentive control freak asshole, from a purely selfish point of view, don’t they realise that if you’re flexible and willing to accommodate things like doctors’ appointments,

This. A lot of things contribute to burnout, beyond just the pressure/responsibilities and the hours. People at work but I feel like it’s also the precarious state of the world economy, the impending doom of climate change and environmental destruction, the worldwide rise of far right populists/fascists, the backward

This. The band members didn’t help but it was also the writing and direction. Whether that was a result of band members’ pressure or not it was ultimately on the filmmakers.

I probably will too, but I might wait for it on prime or something. Biopics tends to be disappointing (at least to me) because with few exceptions the formula seems to be a sequence of ‘important life events’ vignettes without any real character development or narrative thread. I always end up wanting to like them

I like most of her outfits - love this two piece - and I’m all for her pissing these guys off but the tutu was ridiculous and I had to roll my eyes at this:

“Aren’t you?”

I agree with you, in cases where a relationship ends badly. That’s my style too. And I generally get on with my life faster than my friends who insist on badgering exes to give them “closure” after a break up and after their exes have made it clear they don’t love them anymore and want nothing to do with them. No one

It’s gotten terrible reviews though.

You can blame the rest of the band for that. I think they refused to sign off on the music unless they got final say in the movie.

Except I’m not pushing Biden. Like I said (posted too soon and had to edit and add to my comment, you might not have seen the rest of it), there are three candidates I like way better. But my preference doesn’t mean I’m in denial about what the polls are showing at this early stage in the game.

Who is taking advice from republicans? People are reporting on this poll not saying “look, a republican poll said this, ergo Biden is the nominee”. The fact is, as things stand right now, Biden is leading in the polls. Whether that’s a reflection of people’s true inclinations, or it’s based on name recognition and the

And, pray tell, how do you know who the people want without, you know, a poll? There won’t be any kind of voting before the primaries so how do you gauge a candidate’s popularity before then? Polls aren’t the be all end all but they are a useful tool and have their place.
