That’s the thing, to me. The Republican party fought a war against him the entire time he was in office, and he and his family were subject to ridiculous amounts of racism during the same period. Why would you not take a step back for a little while?

Seriously. All he tried to do was for the poor, the sick and disadvantaged. And after eight years of being obstructed, of being called a secret Muslim, of having his amazing wife called inhuman names, the country elects his tormenter and proceeds to destroy his legacy.

It seems like W is doing some good stuff post-presidency.

That dude reinstated the global gag rule that seriously hampered women’s reproductive health around the world (and has led to the spread of AIDS). He gets zero cookies for PEPFAR.

Wait.

On the other hand, if there’s ever been a President in modern history that’s earned the right to say “to hell with all of you,” it’s him.

The timing of this article is magnificent. Trump announces he’s abandoning the separation of the DoJ from political pressure to go after a phantom FBI infiltration by Obama’s administration. The absolute best thing Obama can do in this situation is to be *disconnected* from his political fights as President. If he

Yeah, like...I can imagine that having most of your legislative agenda and legacy dismantled, piece-by-piece, by an utter fucking buffoon would leave a bad taste in one’s mouth.

Working on getting the Obama Foundation and presidential library seems like a good use of his time to me. Also that time off? Well earned. I hope he and his family enjoyed every second of it.

I may be stirring up a real hornets nest, but what the heck.

I don’t preach genocide against an entire race. That makes me significantly less monstrous than him.

If anybody has any doubts about this case, or the incompetence of the police forces in Florence, I highly recommend you read “The Monster of Florence”. It’s written by Douglas Preston and Mario Spezi, and the latest version discusses Amanda’s case.

The second paragraph of Article 27 of the Italian Constitution goes: “A defendant shall be considered not guilty until a final sentence has been passed.”

Decency? She’s given about a dozen interviews in the eight years since this has been happening. She’s been far more decent than her detractors.

She was first acquitted and released from jail in October 2011. Her first interview was April 2013. She waited a year and half to give an interview. Want to retract your complaint?

Why should she have waited a week? Because the family would have preferred it? So what?

Amanda Knox doesn’t owe them jack fucking shit, and she had every right to do whatever she wanted after she was found not guilty, up to and including sounding slightly less than sensitive on television.
