We just went (not my choice, wife wanted to take the kids). I got the idea there is a lot of lying involved in keeping things ‘magical’. I also feel pretty sure that employees...err, cast members... don’t actually have the real answers nor are they encouraged to try and get to them.

She’s soooo hot...in a Disney sort of way

Does anyone care about your license plate? How about your EZPass records, phone call records, contact lists, etc?

Ideally you’re correct as far as securing goes, but then ideally all corporations are doing such things with credit card and medical info too...except they are apparently not.

Nope, but they all know what the DNC is...and most probably think that’s a government agency, which it’s not. Amazing how we have hearings on the breach of a poorly secured, private database and we have a definitive declaration of who the culprit is. Yet, no one in government will be quoted saying it was the Chinese

Sure. What possible use could there be to having a face and fingerprint to verify the data tied to it? If I were in the market for data I wouldn’t care if it was clean, huh? I mean I could generate good statistics from bad data, couldn’t I?

Encrypt the data and require an algorithm to match the separate pieces of information into a whole. Not hard to do, but not as efficient for the companies to use the data. So rather than doing it anyway and protecting your data properly they apologize after the fact and act as if they did as well as they could.

They don’t relate the fingerprint to you, just to the ticket. Hmmmm...yes, I’m sure that’s accurate.

More kids in private schools...leaving public ones to continue to rot.

That’s kind of a blanket statement for any tattoo.

YYou going the wrong direction.

They also know what sites you came from and left FB to. I like to spice it up for them.

She sounds like a thorough woman, and probably critter free.

If you want privacy why would you put up a Facebook account?

The real problem is that we are all being forced to transact online by all sorts of entities, not least among them our government. My State’s DMV penalizes you financially if you don’t transact online. The IRS pushes/incentivizes hard for online filing, etc. These are not minor transactions in terms of type of

Those laws have been consistently beaten back (along with tighter notification laws) by lobbyists.

Now imagine all the information every app you have on your phone has access to.

There should be laws that limit by default what is collected. Beyond that if you want to get more from a site/app you can opt to allow it...sometimes you will for certain capabilities of an app.

Higher income rural, but we only got high speed internet available in the last 6 months. That’s despite being about 30 miles outside a city in the top 100 by population. I was not shocked when Trump won, and neither would others be if they periodically got outside the large metropolitan areas. Despite the labels given

Careful, the Boomers don’t like being labeled or put in a box...well, not themselves, although they have always seen it as their job to do it to everyone else.
