This article is so offensive. Really, you can't feel sorry for someone because he is so "unpleasant"? I don't care if you don't feel sorry for him but please don't mock him for being a victim of sexual abuse. There is plenty to criticize Chris Brown for, but please, lay the fuck off. This is so offensive and so

Thanks!

Oooh can you tell me some of your favorite crafting/stitching blogs?

I bought a firm foam pillow from Ikea for $15. Love it.

Has anyone else noticed they are more prone to dropping or breaking things around their period? Without fail, a couple days before my period starts I will break at least one or two glasses and yell, "Oh, my period!" a la Liz Lemon.

Also, I am not sure where you are getting your information about Zoeller calling for the drug testing of recipients, because the CBS article does not mention welfare at all and I can't find any sources that say that. I've read his statements and my understanding is that he was calling for all pregnant women to be

No, it wouldn't punish drug addicts. It probably wouldn't even punish cigarette smokers. Alcoholics most likely wouldn't be caught, because alcohol would not be detected from a blood test unless the mother was inebriated during her visit to the doctor.

Omg that is so awesome. What are those? Transparent heart jellies floating above a mountain valley?

1. I love the concept of a "revenge body."

Groan!

Yep, all of her racist bullshit got collapsed into this one story about her saying the n-word. And since most people seem to think using the n-word occasionally is no reason to stone someone, let alone not buy what they're selling, I imagine it's not gonna be too hard to make a comeback after this. I wonder what

Oh, I'm from Indiana. Otherwise known as the northern-most Southern state.

TW: Bigotry/racism/n-word

I'm not gonna lie—some of these are really inspiring my next D&D character.

I am slowly realizing that I love really princessy, fancy clothes, which is really weird, considering that in real life all I wear is denim, black t-shirts, and combat boots.

So out of the three looks here, no two have any business being in the same collection, and only one of which is remotely flattering. Honestly, there is nothing innovative about these clothes. It looks like off the rack at JC Penney. (Not that there is anything wrong with JC Penney...but this is Fashion Week.)

I'm with the Indiana chapter of the National Organization for Women. NOW is pretty grassroots and our chapters have a lot of autonomy, so I'm not going to say that every chapter is as intersectional as it needs to be. If you have a NOW chapter in your area I think it's worth checking out, and if you want to get at

I think you critique is spot on, for what it's worth. But I also think a lot of feminists are working on the issues you describe, but it's not the type of feminism that always makes it into the media. The feminist organization I am a part of is was on the picket lines during Strike for 15, we've lobbied for good

Heartily agree that the feminist movement needs to pay more attention to economic inequality.

I just assumed it's because Daddy can't help but see his pubescent daughter as sexually attractive and therefore knows best what will sufficiently infantilize her enough so she doesn't appear "sexy" anymore...but maybe I'm the gross one for thinking that.
