Yellow washing? Sound like a nightmare for someone working in nursery.

Man, now I want more than ever for this game to have been good.
People can know what’s in a game without buying it because there are plenty of others who review the game for us.
Actually, not all of those 14 million paid $60. A month after release, I picked it up for $40 from the PSN store and I saw it even cheaper not long afterwards. I’m guessing EA was pretty heavy handed with their discounts knowing that the game had little staying power.
It’s because 14 million people bought the game. They plan objectively worked. Cut content to make sure the game releases along side the movie to capitalize on the movie’s hype. It worked!
Take a crack at the PC port then. Still not quite there out of the box, but you can tweak it to add AA.
The graphics weren’t touched. “Remastered” is a bit of false advertising - really, the only difference between this and the PS3 version is that this is 60FPS/1080p. (Also it has the DLC.) BUT it’s only $30!
“Yet Blizzard still hasn’t done what I want them to.”
Are you guys nuts? It’s an Android console, even cheaper than Ouya. You can find these crappy things at every street corner. These guys had a slight bigger budget for advertisement. New blood would be great, but this isn’t it, not even close.
I’d be totally happy if a Chinese company can manage to get a console out there with actually strong games.
The story goes that Yamauchi bought the team as a way to repay the community for accepting Nintendo in Redmond. Before buying the team, the Mariners were expected to move out of Seattle. So Nintendo buying the team kept them in Seattle.
Seattle resident here. Yamauchi bought the Mariners out of respect for the area. Nintendo’s American HQ is in Redmond, a city just E/NE of Seattle.
As much as I honestly dislike Jim Sterling as a critic. I will give him a point for this incredibly clever move. This is pretty funny. Let’s watch Sony and Nintendo fight it out for copyright. :D
If you can’t beat the corporations, make them fight each other.
I definetely feel you, but read the lines carefully, Zelda is the only playable game on the show. This says nothing about Nintendo Direct, or more of those blockbuster (or other store (european guy doesn’t get it)) live demo’s they have. Heck, I wouldn’t be suprised some of these stores paid a premium to have…
Yes, because -everyone- knows that written into a EULA that you get when you sign up for Plus that Sony -must- give you AAA titles every single month
1) If the need to recover at all, they’ll do so because Mario, Zelda, Metroid and all the other classic IPs.
Hence the word “debatable.”
Its not all bad news, Miitomo has made 16.8 Billion yen already so I guess we can see the direction that Nintendo is clearly interested in.
Agreed wholeheartedly. Wish the big AAA publishers would take note!! (You know actually care about your audience instead of their wallets...)
When you’re hard at making licensed tie-in games it’s easy to assume they’re just in it for an easy paycheck. Releasing something two years later when they didn’t have to shows some dedication that belies cashing in.
