@James Henderson: I exaggerate, there a few good tracks sprinkled into those games, but I was trying to throw my weight behind the original article. I'm a fan of both the bands you mentioned and most of what I listen to are those bands that require a little digging (i.e. Crystal Antlers, Colour Revolt, So Many

I find it strange that everyone is comparing the Guitar Hero "classic rock" in question to pop acts and claiming that music back in the day was any better than the current state.

@phinehas: the d-pad was underutilized by game developers because it was in an awful place and gamers hated using it #art

@Odin: I have large-ish hands (normal size but long fingers) and I much prefer the Dualshock #art

@KassiaHaoe: I think he is saying that games are up to par with the cinematic punch he wants with his score. The best parts of scoring a movie are lining up crescendos with huge cinematic moment.
